OK - I've got version 1.3.9h and want to install this module - what sort of modifications do I need to make in order for it to work with 1.3.9h?
Thanks,

Ok I have installed it on 1.3.9g and it seems to work fine for me
I did have to do a bit of Hacking to get the prices to appear in my browser,
I see a few people asking about this, so if you are interested I'll post my changed file, all i did was add the price to the description field in the header file
Just chiming in in case anyone checks back -- I just installed this on 1.3.9h and it works like a charm. No modifications needed.
i'm probably being a wally but i don't know how to get this to display on an ez page on my site, im very new to rss.
i have followed all the instructions and all is fine, i just literally have no idea how to display the rss feed. when i put the url in my browser (firefox) just tells me to subscribe to the feed. am i doing something wrong?
also i want to submit my feeds to a couple of other sites and they are asking for an .xml file. does this generate and output file?
sorry for the silly questions
I just tried RSS_Feed 2.1.4 in a very new Zen Cart 1.3.9h.
While it went in as advertised, and appeared to work, it doesn't update. Not from another page calling the feed, not directly in the browser when I click on the RSS icon and go to view the subscribe options. It's still showing what was yesterday's newest products.
Does anyone have any ideas or clues?
I have checked the obvious settings, it's set to update in the config for every 60 minutes (Time to Live). I even set the cache to zero. (For now...)
Thank you,
deb
Here's a capture of my RSS settings in the admin config screen in case someone can see something that may be interfering with the feed updating:

Hi, i have the mod installed and it works great apart from the fact that it doesn't update from the products.
currently my new products feed is showing the newest product added on the 7th dec 2010, there have been many products added since then.
i have seen this question asked many times in this thread but nobody seems to have found an answer.
does anyone know why my new products feed isn't updating itself when new products are being added to the catalogue?
here is the link to my site, if anyone can help me

thank you
I can only report the same.
You can force it to refresh by manually deleting the file starting with "rss...." in the cache directory.
I'm wondering if a batch file on a cron job could delete the file every 6 hours/12 hours/whatever period of time and 'fix' the plug in.
