In the downloaded files, there is no YOUR_TEMPLATE folder, but there is a freetemplate2 folder. I am very familiar with the override system and just want to check if the YOUR_TEMPLATE folder is renamed to freetemplate2 and I should upload those files to my custom folder, or, do I need to have a folder called freetemplate2?
I hope that is clear...
Thanks!

You have me confused! For the thing about April 30th....
If someone downloaded COWOA prior to April 30th, that download did not contain an additional add-on called COWOA Admin (written by Bluefish). On April 30th, I added COWOA Admin to the COWOA download since most people would like to be able to see in their admin which customers used COWOA. I am confused about the part where you said something about an upgrade? There is no upgrade. There is just an additional add-on that I have included in the download that wasn't there before (but was available in this thread on post #186).
The same files that are in freetemplate2 are the same files that are in your-template. Upload any of them into your actual template files folders. You do not upload the actual freetemplate2 file folders or the your-template files folders. The files contained in them are the only thing that you upload into your own template folders. (I think that the person who made the add-on had a template they were using which was called freetemplate2 and that is why it is in there. I will probably delete freetemplate2 from the download eventually. I never knew it was there because I don't use the order steps add-on. )

Thank you for the quick reply!
I stated "upgrade" incorrectly...it is the add-on. Sorry if I confused anyone.
Thank you for clarifying the "freetemplate2" and "YOUR_TEMPLATE" confusion.
Re: My Checkout Without Account Mod
Hi,
New Zenner here that has received all help by looking at the FAQs and the helpful forum posts yet stumped on the COWA mod.
I am using Zen version: 1.3.8 and I have installed this on a client's site (with other mods like QBI and Invoice). IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY (was able to do this in 10 min!).
However, I tried intalling this mod on another client's site and I do not know why the Check Out Without Account option is not available. I have intalled all files, except for the add-ons. Uploaded the SQL file. Changed the PHP files to permissions 750. Set "use split login = true" and still nothing. (No other mods have been installed either).
I also tried another fresh install on a test site (www.michelletops.com/mscatalog) and I am reaching the same problem.
Any help is immensely appreciated!!!
Re: My Checkout Without Account Mod
I forgot to switch what template I'm using in the admin.
Thanks for a terrific mod!!!
Re: My Checkout Without Account Mod
Hi I have been using the COWOA for a while now, and think it's a great mod.
Recently I had a telephone order come through and took the details. I placed the order myself for the customer going throught checkout without account.
This threw up a problem.
I placed the customers items in the basket and selected checkout without account. Entered the customers address details and clicked to continue. The progress bar moved up in explorer, giving the impression it was doing something, but very slowly. If I clicked on the continue button again it said the form had been submitted and was in progress.
Eventually an email came through to me saying that an account had been setup. This is bviously not sent to the customer. I waited probablt another 5 minutes and the page just stayed as it was with the progress bar giving the impression it was working, but very slowly.
In the end I pressed the back button in explorer and it took me to the page for changing account details. Surly this is a flaw. If the customer did this they would know an account has been created.
The long time lag for this page to process is most probably why on another site I have with much higher traffic, I have lots of people creating an account but not completing the order.
Anyway, does anyone have any idea what would cause this to happen.
I am running 1.3.8a of zen, but not sure which version of COWOA. Maybe someone can tell me where I can find that out.
Please excuse me if this is a previous problem, but I could not find it in the thread.
Laurie

Re: My Checkout Without Account Mod
Laurie,
I tested several times on both sites and never encountered the problem you had. For me, both sites were slow in general, the gadget site being the worst. And not just on checkout, but on any page. Neither site ever seemed to get stuck, but I pressed the back button when it was loading slowly and it just took me back to the previous page. I also created a real account to see if it was any different and it was actually slower than COWOA at that time.
I myself have never had the problem you are having so I am kind of stuck when it comes to helping. :(
Also... Google already found the handrail site.
