Go back and read posts #496-498. Make sure you didn't make the same mistake I did. As for the .htaccess, it can be in the root directory because it will affect all subdirectories under it, unless there is an .htaccess file in the subdirectory which contradicts the one in the root.
I have checked the htaccess and it is correct and does what it is supposed to do as far as sending my site to the www or not. In my case or not.
I have not removed anything from the css file and everything there is in tact but I am still having customers tell me they are having issues and when I ask what browser they tell me IE6. The resolution of the cases that have been reported are all over.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
Rick
P.S. The site is http://digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals
I have an EZ page in my drop down that is a chapter with 5 links attached to it. I'm wondering if there is a way for the 4-5 links to show as sub-categories off that main chapter page similar to how the sub-cateogories come off the product category pages under the Catalog menu??? Is there an easy solution that I'm not grasping? Does that make sense?
Just wondering how to get sub-categories off the other main menu headings just like the catalog/products menu. I can easily have each of the EZ page subcategories list in the drop down menu by themselves and turn off the main chapter EZ page. But it would make more sense, for what I'm trying to do to, have them come off the main chapter listed in the drop down. Did I confuse you more?
Thanks so much for any guidance on this.
Lisa
I need to update this menu, I've updated it within my apple zen template (the css drop down menu is included in it), and I've made a lot of adjustments that help in IE6. However, if your .htacces and includes/csshover.htc are correct, the menu SHOULD at LEAST actually drop down.
Check your includes/configure.php to be sure you are using http://digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals as the site root, not http://www.digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals
That would cause the menu to no work at all in IE6.
Hi jade,
After further playing around with the site i wanted to try your dropdown's again (sorry for the hassel)
It is working beter than last time, except that the site is no longer 1000px wide like it is stated in stylesheet.css .
www.tbsm.com.au
Also i was just wondering if it is possible to use the same background image that is on the other menu tab's for the dropdown menu?? (Just so it blends into the site better.
Once again thank you for you time and hard work, you are a great help :)
** Dont worry about the images i worked that one out **
Dissregard both of the above posts.. All worked out.
Thank you very much jade, for your work with this and all of your other addons.
(for some reason i cannot edit or delete past posts  )
Has anyone been able to add a manufacturers dropdown to this yet? I found a post from May 07, but it didn't look like that questioner was able to get it to work.
Thanks!
