Stock by Attribute v4.0 addon for v1.3.5-1.3.9

Hello. I have a problem I tried to install this add-on. Some where I made a big mistake. Ok have Admin site up and running again. Still cannot figure out to load this add-on

Admin --> Confoguration -- > Stock
Admin --> Catalogs -- > Products with Stock Attributes

I would install

dynamic_drop_downs_for_stock_by_attributes_1-3-4

with this also.

I'm in really BIG trouble. This is probably my most important mod. My host has upgraded to 5.3.2 and this mod hasn't been upgraded. Now what am I going to do?

In what way is the Mod not working anymore?

It works, just not updated in the contribution area. Look around in the forum and you'll find the updated file fixes for it.

Hi Kuroi,
I've been searching the stock by attribute forum for an answer and can't seem to figure out my issue. I have thousands of attribute combinations and when I click on my product to load it the query times out the server connection.

I think (and I'm not a database person so forgive me) if you look at the code, it's very inefficient. To me it seems that it creates all the data in one table for each attribute combination. The query downloads the data, then parses it, then populates the drop downs.

I also read in the forums something about a memory issue? I'm not sure where to begin.

Right now I do not have any "stock" in the table because of this issue.

I personally only used Kuroi's last version because he was the only contributor who stuck around for support.. (Kuroi ROCKS!!)

That said, I've been keeping an eye on this and the other SBA support thread.. As a result, I've just downloaded your SBA version and am getting ready to test it on my test store.. You sir would be the very FIRST contributor (since Kuroi of course) to do any work on this mod and actually stick around after making and sharing their modifications. This got my attention..:smile:

One question for you.. Last time I messed around with the Dynamic Dropdowns for SBA mod it didn't work.. The mod seemed incomplete IMO.. Have you done any work on improving this mod too??
