I'm sorry for the post but I can't figure why the Large image isn't displaying inside the JS Window...
URL:
http://thenamesplace.com/store
Dir structure:
Thumbs: /images/earrings/tnp_1n19,jpg
Medium: /images/medium/earrings/tnp_1n19_med.jpg
Large : /images/large/earrings/tnp_1n19_lg.jpg
Everything seems to function except when you click on the large image, the thumbnail (125X125) image gets displayed in the JS Window...
Again, I apologize for this mundane issue! ::frust
Thanks,
Jim

If you haven't altered the configuration settings for image suffixes, the suffix for large images is _LRG not _lg.
Regards,
Tim
-
Tim,
The image settings are correct and set as "_med" and "_lg". Which is why I'm confused because the "_med" image is displaying properly...
-
What about file permissions? Can you manually access the file from your browser?
-
Permissions:
files - 644
dirs - 777
These are the same settings for the other dirs I created and they seem to work, just the large images don't work...
I can manually enter the URL and get the image at 400 x 400
Since this setup is in the beginging phase, I may have to re-upload the files, remove the items from the DB, start over and attach the thumbnails when adding a new item; the 125x125 image...
Thanks for any additional input!

Have you tried uploading the images again? And when you have, check that the original is in images/originals
-
Ryk,
Thanks for the input!
I just checked something...
The large image that is displayed in the JS Window is in fact the large image; however, something appears to be resizing it down to the thumbnail size 125x125. I can tell by the file properties: the "_lg" image is 62kb whereas the thumbnail is only 4kb
The image setting page doesn't have settings for this image, does it...?
-
I'd noticed that as well - that's why I was asking if the original image had made it to the originals/folder...
Actually, I may be a little of beam here - are you using Image-Handler or are you uploading your images via FTP?
-
Ryk,
Thanks for the reply!
I had to step away for awhile...
Uploaded image files via FTP.
While adding a new item, I utilized the browse button to locate the thumbnail and allowed this image to be uploaded into the earrings dir...
-
If I were you, I'd install Image-Handler (get it from Tim's site at www.breakmyzencart.com) which will take 99% of the hassle out of uploading images and making sure they are in the right place...
I know that's not the answer to the problem that's occurred, but from what you say, you appear to be doing it right. Just double-double check that you have
thumbnail in images/earrings
_med in images/medium/earrings
_lg in images/large/earrings
and that the correct image has the correct name.
But I'd still go for Image-Handler!
Edit: - I'm afraid I have to leave now, so don't wait about tonight for me!
