Re: Abbington Mega Template [Support Thread]
Hi Anne,
reference this
Quote:
the listings look ugly because the product title font size is far too large and it is bold. I though making changes to the following would sort this out but it doesn't alter font characteristics at all;
UPDATE - this large bold text is only occurring in one category and not in any of the other nine (9) categories on the site
affected category http://www.harmonyball.net.au/harmony-balls-c-14.html
whilst on site please go to other categories to see difference.
There is also the [<< Prev] 1 2 3 4 5 ... [Next >>] problem - nothing is working to alter font color
cheers,
Mike

Any changes can be made in the template css files and the changes will work. You are just not making the correct changes. If you want to make css changes I would recommend using chrome or firefox and the web developer tools. They will show you the line of the file that needs to be changed.
When I view your stylesheet.css file in the chrome developer tools, the entire page is red so there is some problem. If it were me, I would re upload the stylesheet that comes with the template package and the add in tour changes until you find the problem.
Thanks,
Anne

Remove your category description to see if it fixes it. My guess is that you have bad code in the category description
Thanks,
Anne

Thanks Anne - removing the Category Description fixed the problem - good work, well done.
Now back to the original issue of being able to change colour of font in [<< Prev] 1 2 3 4 5 ... [Next >>] - any new thoughts on this?
cheers,
Mike

Re: Abbington Mega Template [Support Thread]
Hello Anne,
I am trying to change font size for product 'title' in product listing without any luck - there seems not to be any attributes for this in includes/templates/abbington_mega/stylesheet.css. I am assuming that as the product title is H1 then the font size and weight is determined elsewhere? I tries changing H1 font size from 1.5 to 1.0 on the aforementioned css file but it had no effect.
I also copied the font attribute lines from center boxes into product listing but that didn't have any effect either.
Can you suggest a solution please? site www.harmonyball.net.au (large bold font looks ugly)
cheers, Mike
Re: Abbington Mega Template [Support Thread]
Anne - please ignore the previous post - I must be having a bad day, you sorted that for me in a post some time back  - SORRY for the intrusion.
cheers, Mike

Re: Abbington Mega Template [Support Thread]
Hi Anne,
I am looking for some assistance to fix the 'MOBILE USABILITY' issues being reported via Webmaster Tools for my websites, six (6) of them using this template. WMT help suggests 'tweaks' to site templates to fix the issues. This is the list of issues from one site (the others have the same issues with slightly varying numbers);
Usability error▼ Pages with errors
1 Viewport not configured 159
2 Touch elements too close 120
3 Small font size 159
4 Content not sized to viewport 159
Looking forward to your assistance,
cheers, Mike
