Multiple issues

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this or not but, here it goes...I am having all kinds of issues. I am brand new to zen cart. I just startedd this week with it and I have latest version. After I had it installed I was told to do this:

"1. Rename the Zen Cart admin folder via FTP

2. Within the admin/includes/configure.php file change the entries for /admin/ to /new-name/ (All 3 of them)

First Section

Now I have no idea whether I did it right or not. I don't know what goes where as far as images. I was trying to put images on the main page using the Admin area and I can't find the URL for the image. I tried to install Image Handler 2, Sales Report, and Blank Sidebox, I do what the instructions say and nothing is showing up. I had to have someone else to the sideboxes and sales report and I have no idea how she did it. She is the one that set my site up for me. I am in dire need of help here. I am ready to rip my hair out!!!! I would REALLY appreciate ANY & ALL help!!!

If you can access the admin area using your new admin name then you certainly have done it right.

May I suggest that you get a copy of the Zen Cart manual (eBook). It is a simple step by step reference - invaluable.
