Running my ZenCart on a Windows computer for testing

Is there any documentation that describes how I could install my ZenCart on a Windows computer for testing?

I use xampp very simple to use.
Based on which version of zencart you use will determine which xampp you will install.

What version? I'm asking because mine uses MariaDb.

I already had mySQL running before installing XAMPP. Is MariaDb required for XAMPP to run correctly?

I'm fairly sure that XAMPP's MariaDb can be replaced with MySQL. I've got that planned for installation on a new notebook, but have never actually tried. I asked because MySQL was the one "complaining" in the message you'd posted above.
