Hi friends,
i have a musical site. in my site the customers try to download an album.but during the download, power fluctuation happened.so max. products download was expired. How do i deliver the downloadable products to customer ? is there any way in zencart ?

When adding downloadable product (See Attached) you have to specify how long it is good for and how many times they can download the product file.
You can edit your attributes and set this to where you would like to set it.
But when you say power fluctuation happened I am not totally sure what you mean by this term.
But you can edit the product attribute to let them download more then once. It is located at the bottom of the page in your attribute controller for that product.
As for already purchased customers edit the attribute then email your customer telling them the product is available after you have tested yourself working.
yes , now i am following the same way (increase downloadable product count). Is there any alternative way?
Forgot to mention you have to specify the name of the download file as well for example.
You have to upload the file to your downloads folder and put the exact name of that file into that product for example
elvis-loves-rock-roll.zip put this entire folder name into the Filename: field
Then set the Expiry days: (0 = unlimited)
Then Maximum download count:
Then save. Once you have done this login as a customer and test the download.
See the other image attached it shows you an example of how it should look
I am not aware of an easier way to do this other then to manually edit them. There is a bulk uploader mod but I am not 100% sure it can do what you are asking.Quote:

What is your website address to this exact product we are discussing? Let me look at it and see it and maybe I can be further assistance.

Found one error when registering you have a SMTP error

If you are not able to fix that error yourself I would contact your hosting provider and see if they can assist you on fixing the error, ZenCart cannot connect to your SMTP server is basically what that means.
So I am assuming this is the same error your customer gets as you called it "power fluctuation"
I cannot test further it until I can register.
Found another problem as well see image attached, this seems to be a modification issue of some sort that you may have done to your store.
Try activating the default template and see if that works.
Also I have two orders pending and need at least one set to active so I can test the download.

Clearly knuckle-101 has no idea what you're asking about, and is leading you way off track.
Be very careful who you give your site details to, especially passwords and admin access.
Okay I forgot to mention one step it was 4 am and trying to help the guy out.
But overall it led to a fix for another issue with his email settings both win on each end.
And clearly never asked for any login information.
