I have a copy of the DHL module. I am not the author and I make no representations for it other than the fact that I have a few clients who use it. You can PM me for it.Quote:

Hmmm. Haven't seen it yet.
It was sent to you 3 days ago _ I saw it in our logs. Are you sure you are not filtering attachments?
We certainlyhave plenty of anti-spam stuff engaged.... it's possible it got snagged.
Please shoot me a short message so I can whitelist you... or send it to abuse@ or postmaster@ the same domain name. Those are unfiltered.
Thanks!
Hey Ben,
Could you email that dhl mod to me also. brandon AT stdmg DOT com
thanks
Hey Ben,
Could you email that dhl mod to me also. shaning AT gmail.com
thank u!
Anyone want to jump in and help us out here?
Thanks
you can just download it
Just keep in mind that if you download any of the 5 contributions above, none of them have been brought up to date with Zen Car 1.3.0.1. You will need to search the forum for minor fixes to bring the mods up to date.Quote:

Great. Tell me *WHERE*. There's no link that I've found to mods anywhere since they redesigned the site!
look in my signature.Quote:

It connects to their server. That's why you need a DHL account and a shipping key.Quote:

does this work for shipping from abroad to the us? or does it only work domestic?
Bill:
I was reading your thread about the DHL module. Have you downloaded it and if so does it work? I assume you have the 2004 module.
I would appreciate your comments.
Thanks
I did download, but the client decided not to use DHL so I don't know if/how well it works.
Would love this as well!! Email is [email protected]

Hi,
I installed this mod to discover its just for ground. Any hopes of getting International functionality?
Thanks,
Laura
This module does not work at all with the newer version of zen cart. It has a problem authenticating with the dhl server.
If someone would like to email me the mod as well, would appreciate it.

Is anyone working on a updated version for Zen 1.3.7
From all I have been able to determine over several weeks of research, the answer is no. I did get an email from somone who was planning on creating a DHL module and offer it for a minimal fee, however, I have not heard anything more.
You'd think the folks here at Zen could put there heads together and get this one cranked out.....
DHL is only the best game in town at the moment. Look, we ship breakables and they seem to be the only one who is bright enough to get them there in 1 piece.
You ever try filing a Insurance claim with USPS or UPS? Not a fun thing to go through. Trust me... UPS is hard enough to get you money out of and USPS, for get about it....
So for Gods sake would someone on the zen team please see if you cant lend us a hand on this one...
Thanks
NOLA
Sorry for the double posting but I think this needed to be said.......
Im not quite sure what all the pm me and email me talk is about because last time I checked this was an open source shopping cart and a support forum. Just in case anyone forgot that means SHARE openly....
Then theres the talk about selling the DHL mod. Well if that is the case then maybe the zen team should shut it down and we all go buy us a shopping cart script... I realize that one may want to be compensated for there effort but this isn't really the place for that IMHO....
Thanks Again
NOLA
I agree with you
I just had to jump in....

Let me speak from my own experience here - I have used all three major companies and the *ALL* screw up. However I have found DHL to be the most incompetent.
I just 'fired' them again for the 3rd time in 7 years when 2 packages in a row(!) did not make it overnight to 2 different clients and I lost a potential $18,000 as my sample did not get where it needed to be for the bid. Two times in a week! Now, things happen, but this is not the first time.
Through my DHL reseller, I was paying dirt cheap rates, however, who cares if it doesn't get there. Ground isn't so bad, and I still use them for inbound international. However, for overnight I always use UPS now. (BTW, both UPS & Fedex screw up too, but to a much lesser extent). Again, in my experience, I *never* had a problem with insurance, but then again, in 7 years I can count my claims on one hand.
Secondly:
It is my humble opinion that being America, the capitalistic society that we are, if someone wants to sell a mod, that is his or her business and doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the people at Zenwho are the most wonderful group on the planet:hug:Quote:

Finally, the person above mentioned that they have a copy - which means they probably got it from someplace other than the download area, so they don't need to be chided.:lamo:
Let's feel the love, people!
Thats going to really get the mod moving in the right direction.... ahhh not...
Thanks for putting it on the fast track!!!!
I was hoping to get someone on the support team involved.... As they have been pretty null and void of most of the dhl post. I'm sure we've all had bad experiences with all the shippers but please lets not give them a reason to loose instrest in this one.IMHO
So if your using dhl, what mod are you useing? Please do tell...
interested in a dhl mod also
I'm needing some help with the DHL module as well... I have the same dreaded problem I'm running Zen Cart version 1.3.7. We downloaded the module version discussed in the threads got our DHL account set up and updated all our info into the module with no luck. We have to use DHL and I need help getting this DHL module up and running, any help at all or suggestions would be very appreciated thanks all.
The DHL Mod only works if your shipping from the US & it's Ground service only.
Just though I would add that. Cause I wanted to use it but I cannot since I am not in the US.
Folks...
I know that there is a lot of "mod porting" between open source carts - and I am sure I found one some time ago over at osCommerce (at the time when I thought it was the most wonderful open source, free cart system - I quickly changed my mind after trying to set it up - LOL).
Can we sort of place some possibilities on the table for these mods and see what can be done?
I am also interested in it to function for international because even if my cart is USA-based, I am re-selling someone else's product who is based in Malaysia and shipping DHL worldwide. Complicated enough huh?
thanks,
Gabstero
I need a copy of the DHL mod too, Please send a copy to crescentgems at gmail dot com
Thanks in advance

Hi,
also interested very much in a DHL modul.
thx
Rudi
Nola,
I think you may have a slight misconception on the open-source outlook.
While the developers do keep an excellent watch on the development of the ecommerce engine for this vehicle, it's not their responsibility to make sure the trunk to the vehicle closes or that the outside mirrors are present. They have been known to incorporate mods into the basic zen after determining that they would benefit the majority.
Also, the developers rely greatly on contributions though paypal. Might want to buy them a "cup of coffee" from time to time.
The Devs are NOT responsible nor do they have time to develop "outside the box". I applaud the fact that they take time to contibute to this forum in areas outside their responsibility.
Those who choose to develop a mod can often find themselves spending hours tweaking and answering questions as everyone wants something just a little bit different.
Therefore, some who develop mods ask for donations or charge for their services.
It's my opinion that we decide what a mod is worth and I also believe that anyone who charges should "stick around" to support their work.
You will find that this community far surpasses any other in open-source land.
Hi,
just working to implement a DHL modul to Zen Cart. Maybe I'm lucky and it works soon.
Rudi
 Surprise!!!
Hi,
amazing that nobody take the shipping modules from this website!!!???
http://www.zen-cart.at/
Maybe I'm wrong and didn't read something important.
I could have saved some time of investigation. The tables can be ajusted.
Well, I guess that solved my problems.
Rudi :D
I would love this DHL shipping mod every one is talking about. hagcin at gmail dot com
I got the DHL module that is flying around the internet to work (version 1.1000)
problem is the quotes are terribly inaccurate. It only quotes the base price and does not add fuel surcharge and residential delivery to the total. Is there an update to it in general? I'm assuming its because the module is old and the surcharge and residential delivery maybe separate API calls, but I could be completely wrong
** BUMP ** Any news on a new DHL/Airborne module? I have tried converting the most recently used OSC module over to no avail (My modules screen doesnt load when it is in the modules folder). I have tried downloading the version from the Austrian version of the website but that is no go either. A WORKING DHL Shipping module would be great and would keep me from ultimately switching to something like Magento or OSC.
Can someone please send me the DHL shipping mod or tell me where to get it?
Hello,
Would this be of any help with DHL Canada? Does anyone know?

Also, would this be an option?

Does anyone have any experience with them?
Everyone needs to keep in mind that DHL is ending it US Operations, they are in the process of closing every non-international hub in the US, and laying off upwards of 90% of their US work force.
I would assume that would effect Canadian Shops as well.
I have heard that they are OK in Canada. I know a wholesaler who uses them. They have no plans so far to scale down in Canada. She has found them superbly reliable and professional, and they also have good rates.
It would be great if someone would tackle this module. Since DHL no longer ships domestically (US), their international shipping rates are extremely competitive. The API is available to anyone, here is some information DHL API. DHL does list Zen Cart as a compatible third party vendor, so thats promising but for now I will try to keep showing showing Global Express Guaranteed or figure out a table rate system...
yes i have signed up for vendor API request but where do i get the module itself? i've been looking everywhere and couldn't find it. please lead me to the right link. thanks a lot!
That's the problem, the module seems to be missing in action. I was hoping someone else would develop a new module.
