Can't install Zen. Forbidden message
I am trying to install ZC on a brand new server. I had a cart for many years so this should be easy. However, after loading the files into the /catalog on my server I went to install. I immediately get the following error message:
" Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /global-bin/php.cgi/catalog/zc_install/index.php on this server.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache/1.3.42 Server at coloramapaint.com Port 80"
Please help. I do not even have a "global-bin", but I do have a "cgi-bin"
Thank you
Rick

That does not look lke a valid server path to me. Who is your hosting company?
Re: Can't install Zen. Forbidden message
at&t is the hosting company

<opinion>You can get SO much more from SO many hosts for WAY less money.</opinion>
If you thought you were installing this to the root of the site, it didn't work. Could be the wizards at AT&T don't have that new server quite right yet.
Re: Can't install Zen. Forbidden message
We had a client in california hosting with AT&T paying SIXTY DOLLARS A MONTH for simple website hosting.
Not only was their support non-existant, but their servers were set up in the mid fourteenth century and haven't been updated since. :D
Do yourself a BIG favour... move somewhere else (NOT GoDaddy, or FastHosts or 1&1 - who are in the same "nest" as AT&T.)
