Used to work, now I'm getting "Page Not Found."
Version 1.3.9d
Linux--Hostgator
My cart was working just yesterday. This morning I set up my product as a download, pdf, which seemed to go well.
The radio button displayed in the cart, and all was well.
I saved create_account.php to another directory just in case. Then I edited the create_account.php file because I don't give discounts or anything. I removed all of the code that offered discounts.
I went out and put my product in the cart, filled in the form to create a new account, and clicked the submit button. I got the "Page Not Found" error.
So, I went back to the saved, unedited create_account.php, put it back in the english directory, and tried again.
I still get the "Page not found" error.
I know that somewhere the path information is probably messed up, but I don't know where or how. I didn't mess with directory paths.
Any ideas?
Re: Used to work, now I'm getting "Page Not Found."
Thanks for the help. I didn't know about the log files.
The problem was that when I copied the original create_account file back into /english/, I just renamed the messed up version to createch_account (ch for changed), thinking it would be there if I needed to compare or something.
ZenCart, rather than use the original that I put back in the folder, continued to use the one I renamed, even though the name was changed!!
The error log said, "PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/mnjones/public_html/shop/includes/languages/english/create_accountch.php on line 30"
Amazing.
Thanks again, mnjones
