Re: One-Page Checkout [Support Thread]
I'm preparing to submit v2.3.1 of One-Page Checkout to the plugin moderators for review and will post back here when it's available for download.
This release contains changes associated with the following GitHub issues:
#239: Additional notifier to enable site-specific 'hash' overrides.
#240: State dropdown displayed when it's not enabled.
#241: Additional session-variable clean-up on guest-checkout completion.
#242: Add parameters to 'formatAddressElement' method, enabling additional site-specific customizations.
#243: Load browser-detection class only if it's not already loaded.
#245: Remove password_forgotten from the guest-checkout's disallowed pages.
#246: Disallow guest-checkout on robot accesses.
#247: Correct Salutation field formatting.
#248: Additional session-variables to ignore for the "Ceon Sage Pay Direct" payment method.
#249: Correct guest-checkout order-confirmation emails' address formatting.
#250: Clarify that guest-checkout can continue via button-press on the login page.

Would you (perhaps optionally) change this so that all you have is the dropdown or a create new address button that redirects them to
/index.php?main_page=checkout_shipping_address
Sorry, @swguy, I just saw this question. What functionality would that redirect to the checkout_shipping_address page provide that's not already on-page for the One-Page Checkout?

Brilliant, thank you

Just checked and when you press the guest checkout button it takes you back to the log in page. Any idea?
Thanks

Nothing stands out, except for the fact that you're using a Template Monster template.

Re: One-Page Checkout [Support Thread]
@lat9,
in reviewing a problem, the solution seems to involve a php setting of:
serialize_precision
according to this doc, a value of -1 gives the most precision and is recommended since php7.1
https://wiki.php.net/rfc/precise_float_value
do you see any problem with OPC here with that setup?
thanks.
Re: One-Page Checkout [Support Thread]
@carlwhat, OPC simply re-structures the layout of the checkout process from 3-ish (depends on whether you include login) pages to 1-ish (discounting the optional review step) page.
The calculations for the order are still provided by the various shipping, payment and order-total modules, so if there's a calculation issue it's in the Zen Cart base.

Core functionality? No issue. It only becomes a problem for stores that add stuff to the checkout_shipping_address page.

What kind of 'stuff'? I'd be happy to add some notifications or other callouts to enable those changes to be more easily made.
