Sidebox for collecting emails

Hi,

I create my own newsletters via HTML in Dreamweaver and send them out myself. All I want is a sidebox where a user puts in their email address and it gets sent to the stores contact email address so I can archive myself. I don't want to pay for constant contact or mailchimp, and no matter how hard I try, I can't get NewsLetter subscribe to work. When I try to put it in as a sidebox, I get errors saying "Default_Heading", etc.

Is there a module that can simply take emails when submitted?

I am trying to add same thing and getting nowhere. Hopefully someone can clue us both in.

The mailchimp sidebox addon is the easiest way to handle that.
