I upgraded from 1.53 to 1.55a everything went well. When I try to log in at www.mydomain.com/zc_install and update my database it says I have the wrong password. So I went and removed zc_install with filezilla . I then went to my site with my old password and got in. I changed my password. so I went back, put zc_install back in..i went to my login / update database area , and it still says i am using the wrong password. any ideas?

Your frontend is not showing the message that your DB needs upgrading
So check your configure.php files for the correct DB being used
Use phpmyadmin and check the admin table for user name

The password was causing more issues so I enlisted the help from Host Gator. It took a bit of working, but all is well.
