Re: Categories Dressing
autoace - You may want a negative text-indent, or perhaps in admin you should set Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories separator between subcategories to blank (remove hard-coded indent spaces).
pb4 - To get the first three categories in the "Design" group, change the define from 'CAT_BOX_HEADING_107' to 'CAT_BOX_HEADING_103'.
Looks like you have the Web Design ok now.

Thanks, I will try those options.

Re: Categories Dressing
alepia - If you use Categories Dressing (which you currently are not), you can define a group for that category and a different group for the following category, and style the first group with the desired color.
The stock categories sidebox you have has instructions in the comments in
/includes/templates/your_template/sideboxes/tpl_categories.php
for making a single category differently styled.

Re: Categories Dressing
Hi,
How do you activate the chcategories sidebox as there is no readme_ch_categories.txt file in the package?
Have installed as per instructions in readme2_7_3 file but new item is not showing up in Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings as detailed under "To display images in place of selected category names:"
Thanks

Re: Categories Dressing
Just got it working. Searched through the thread for some clues and found this is where is being activated Tools > Layout Boxes Controller, that was not mentioned in readme file. I'm new to Zen so sorry if my querry was too easy for you :)

Re: Categories Dressing
readme_ch_categories.txt:
Code:
/*
* Replacement Category Tree for Zen Cart Shop System
*
* Christoph Handel 2007-06-10
* [email protected]
*
* Changelog:
* 2005-06-12 initial release
* 2007-06-10 update for zencart 1.3.x
*/
This is a replacement for the Category-Tree Sidebox included in Zencart 1.3.x
It will always display uncollapse all Tree Nodes.
Other than that it has the same functionallity. It uses the same configuration
variables, templates, ... as the original category tree.
= Installation =
Place the two files in the directories indicated by the
folder-structure.
ch_categories_tree_generator.php goes to $SHOP_ROOT/includes/classes/
ch_categories.php goes to $SHOP_ROOT/includes/modules/sideboxes/
Go to the Zen admin interface, Tools, layout boxes controller and add
ch_categories. Turn off the original categories
The Layout Settings page has nothing to do with ch_categories.
