Support thread for Zen Colorbox plugin.

Got it installed.. Very nice.. Got something odd happening though.. In fact I noticed this too with the latest version of Zen Lightbox.. I get an "extra" image that is a repeat of the main image. So if you look at my test store where I have no additional images you will see that the lightbox always shows that there are two images, and both images are the main image. http://zentestcart(dot)overthehillweb(dot)com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=1
I noticed the same behavior using the latest version of Zen Lightbox as well: http://mybeautyaddiction(dot)com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16_132&products_id=557
glad to hear it's working well for you. I looked at the site and the "Extra" image is coming from your reviews tab, but the css is hiding it from display.
Is there a ZC setting to "include images in reviews" or something like that?
Attachment 10529
No there is no such setting in Tabbed Products Pro.. If I turn off the TPP setting to put the product reviews into a tab, then the extra image goes away..
I'm wondering if the fix I made here: http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...411#post620411 to hide the extra reviews button somehow has affected things.. I would hate to not be able to keep reviews inside a tab just to use this add-on..:(
I'll look into it an see what I can find.
d
One more thing I noticed on this site is that the bottom of the image is getting cut off slightly http://zentestcart(dot)overthehillweb(dot)com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=1
I'm assuming I need to make an adjustment to the stylesheet, but I am not sure what I need to adjust..
Another minor thing I am trying to figure out how to adjust..
On this page http://clienthairisle(dot)overthehil...products_id=35 the "stop slideshow" text is cut off..
How do I adjust that??
I'm very happy with the results as well and thank you very much, niestudio.
Am also using to display a random slideshow of all products on a e-zpage and would like to share method.
Added following code to /includes/templates/MY_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_page_default.php
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING:
<h1 id="ezPagesHeading"><?php echo $var_pageDetails->fields['pages_title']; ?></h1>
Haven't tackled body_onload yet, but tentatively planning on it.Code:<?php
/*Sequence for listing image paths for slideshow */
// do we want slideshow on this page?
if (isset($ezpage_id) and $ezpage_id == 'MY_EZ_PAGE_ID_#'){
//Hidden div to feed invisible images to jscript
echo "<div style=\"display:none\">";
// query database table for image paths
$this_sql_for_images = mysql_query("SELECT products_image FROM zen_products ORDER BY RAND()");
// loop through image paths and create array
while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($this_sql_for_images, MYSQL_NUM)) {
//assign string to variable
$the_url = $row[0];
if (file_exists("images/".$the_url)) {
// RegEx pattern to separate image path from extension

echo "<a href= \"".$full_path."\""." rel=\"renmanimage\"><img src=\"".$full_path."\" style=\"display:none;padding:0;margin:0;height:1px\"></a><br/>";
}
} else {
//echo "The small file, $the_url exists<hr/>";
//list images with "style = display:none" so they are not visible on page
echo "<a href= \"images/".$the_url."\""." rel=\"renmanimage\"><img src=\"images/".$the_url."\" style=\"display:none;padding:0;margin:0;height:1px\"></a><br/>";
} // End LRG file condition
} // End DB file exists Condition
//End hidden div tag
echo "</div>";
//display image to click to begin slideshow
echo "<a href= \"images/clickhere.jpg\" rel=\"renmanimage\"><img src=\"images/clickhere.jpg\"></a><br/>";
} // End EZ Page ID Condition
?>
Would also like to have main/trigger image excluded from slideshow, WHILE keeping main images from product pages in slideshow.
If body_onload works this may be less of an issue.

Am always open to suggestions on improving code. Am thinking of ultimately adding features for use on Category listing pages.
Previous post made to work with Image Manager LRG images where they exist. If image manager is not in use, this should do the trick:
Code:<?php
/*Sequence for listing image paths for slideshow */
// do we want slideshow on this page?
if (isset($ezpage_id) and $ezpage_id == 'MY_EZ_PAGE_ID_#'){
//Hidden div to feed invisible images to jscript

//display image - which will need to be uploaded - to click to begin slideshow

Is this the same mod as at link above?
No, we're still in private beta right now.
that one is a similar box, but doesn't have the same configurations.
I guess this is it:
http://www.webdivision.prommart.com/...roducts_id=195
Looks to be working.
Is the ://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6/jquery.min.js in html_header necessary? It gives a validation error and seems to work without it.
And I see that it watermarks first large image but not additional images? Not a deal breaker.
Nice look and more interesting than the old stand-by Lightbox. (which I couldn't get sql patch to install 1.5 even directly in phpmyadmin)
No, no plans for watermarking
finally got around to a workaround for this issue.
Not sure if it should be part of the ZCB or ZLB install by default, but maybe in the FAQ of this and of the tabbed plugin.
try adding this line to [includes/classes/zen_colorbox/autoload_default.php]
I added it as the first line inside of the document ready function
this should re-write the image links inside the tabbed sections to remove the rel="colorbox" attribute so that the images do not get linked/loaded into colorbox or lightbox (same code will work for either)Code:$('#productMainImageReview, #productAdditionalImages_tab').find("a").removeAttr("rel");
d
Interesting.. but TPP gives an option of putting the additional images inside a tab.. If I make this change won't that mean that if I have my additional images inside a tab that the colorbox/lightbox effect will not be applied to my additional images?? My issue is that if I turn on the reviews tab so that all my product reviews appear in a tab, I then get some kind of extra image.. If I turn of the reviews tab, this behavior stops..
Yes, I suppose it would.
I didn't test all the features of the tab, just the review setting and then I noticed that I had doubles of all my additional images too.
if you just want to take care of the review image then you could modify the code to:
and later if you have an issue like I saw with the additional image, it could be wrapped in an if statement to check wether or no the additional images are in a tab or not.Code:$('#productMainImageReview').find("a").removeAttr("rel");
So I am back with more issue regarding product images and product reviews.. I think the issue I reported previously regarding the images and reviews may not be related to TPP at all.. I think the issues with having reviews on the tabs in TPP is caused because of an overall issue with how Colorbox (and Zen Lightbox) display/deal with reviews and product images together in general.
I reported this new find in the Zen Lightbox thread, but I'm reporting here too since I am seeing the SAME issue with both Colorbox and Zen Lightbox.
Not sure why, but the Lightbox and Colorbox add-ons are generating some weird/invalid HTML on the product reviews pages. You will see the model number appear in what appears to be some weird link to the left of the product image. Using Zen Lightbox, you can see what I am speaking of on this page:
http://clientlaserdiscvault(dot)overthehillweb(dot)com/index.php?main_page=product_reviews&products_id=8909
I found the EXACT same issue with the beta version of the Colorbox add-on as well. You can see the same issue using the Colorbox add-on on this page:
http://clienthairisle(dot)overthehillweb(dot)com/Hair-Extensions/Economy-Collection/Economy-Unprocessed/Indian-Remy-Micro-Thin-Machine-Weft-Virgin-Curly-Texture-3-Oz/reviews?number_of_uploads=0&
This weird link goes away when I turn off Lightbox or Colorbox.
Without Lightbox turned on this is the HTML created:
With Lightbox turned off this is the HTML created (note the mis-behaving HTML created is in red):Code:<div id="productReviewsDefaultProductImage" class="centeredContent back">
<div id="productMainImage" class="centeredContent back">
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
<!-- document.write('<a href="javascript:popupWindow(\'http://myclient.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=8909\')"><img src="images/dasPic_24141.jpg" alt="National Geographic - Secrets of the Titanic [G52000]" title=" National Geographic - Secrets of the Titanic [G52000] " width="349" height="350" />
<br /><span class="imgLink">larger image</span></a>'); //-->
</script>
<noscript>
<a href="http://myclient.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image&pID=8909" target="_blank"><img src="images/dasPic_24141.jpg" alt="National Geographic - Secrets of the Titanic [G52000]" title=" National Geographic - Secrets of the Titanic [G52000] " width="349" height="350" /><br /><span class="imgLink">larger image</span></a>
</noscript>
</div></div>
Using either Colorbox or Zen Lightbox, the issue goes away when I turn off these add-ons. It seems clear that there is something with how both of these add-ons deal with product images and reviews that goes awry.Code:<div id="productReviewsDefaultProductImage" class="centeredContent back">
<div id="productMainImage" class="centeredContent back">
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
<!-- document.write('<a href="images/dasPic_24141.jpg" rel="lightbox-g" title="National Geographic - Secrets of the Titanic<br /><span class=\"smallText\">[G52000]</span>"><img src="images/dasPic_24141.jpg" alt="National Geographic - Secrets of the Titanic [G52000]" title=" National Geographic - Secrets of the Titanic [G52000] " width="349" height="350" /><br /><span class="imgLink">larger image</span></a>'); //-->

Any thoughts??
Found a temporary solution for the problem with odd HTML on the reviews page I reported earlier. Wanted to share this in both threads since I found the same issue with Zen Lightbox and the Colorbox beta.
In this file: /includes/modules/pages/product_reviews/header_php.php
I made the following change:
Find line #43-44 and replace with the following.
Basically I am commenting out the code that the Colorbox is mangling which makes the odd/malformed HTML go away. I'm sure the same solution will fix the issue with Zen Lightbox so I'm gonna post this there too..Code:// $products_name = $review->fields['products_name'] . '<br /><span class="smallText">[' . $review->fields['products_model'] . ']</span>';
// } else {
Found this answer too.. Had to mess around with these settings in the "Zen_Colorbox Overrides" section of the Colorbox stylesheet:
I needed to add #cboxLoadedContent to ths section. Then I played with the bottom-margin to make room for the title, current page, and "stop slideshow" link. to adjust the title, current page, and "stop slideshow" link position I have to mess around with the bottom setting for the following IDs
#cboxTitle
#cboxCurrent
#cboxSlideshow
The defaults for these should probably be examined so that adjusting these settings out the box shouldn't be needed for most store owners.
and here is the corrected class code.. Tested this and it works perfectly..
What this change does:Code:<?php
/**
* Zen Colorbox
*
* @author niestudio (daniel [dot] niestudio [at] gmail [dot] com)
* @copyright Copyright 2003-2005 Zen Cart Development Team

*/
?>
jQuery(function($) {
$("a[rel^='colorbox']").colorbox({<?php require_once(DIR_FS_CATALOG . DIR_WS_CLASSES . 'zen_colorbox/options.php'); ?>});;
$("#productMainImageReview a").removeAttr("rel");
});
//--></script>
IF you are using TPP and have the reviews tab turned on, this will prevent the reviews page default image from treated like an additional product image and being grouped in with the rest of your product images in the lightbox.
The issue is MUCH MORE obvious when you have a main product image and no additional images.. Because the reviews page image is being treated as an additional image, the net effect is that the lightbox will show 1 of 2 images. (the "second" image being the product reviews page image)
Found a better solution to this issue..
Issue:
If you have both Tabbed Products Pro, and Colorbox installed AND your products have model numbers defined, the problem outlined above will manifest itself.
To fix this in the includes/modules/pages/product_reviews/header_php.php file replace this:
with this:Code:if (zen_not_null($review->fields['products_model'])) {
$products_name = $review->fields['products_name'] . '<br /><span class="smallText">[' . $review->fields['products_model'] . ']</span>';
} else {
$products_name = $review->fields['products_name'];
}
Code:if (TPP_GLOBAL_ENABLE_TABS == '1') {
if (zen_not_null($review->fields['products_model'])) {
$products_name = $review->fields['products_name'];
}
} else {
if (zen_not_null($review->fields['products_model'])) {
$products_name = $review->fields['products_name'] . '<br /><span class="smallText">[' . $review->fields['products_model'] . ']</span>';
} else {
$products_name = $review->fields['products_name'];
}
}
What this change does:
If you have Tabbed Products Pro and Zen Colorbox installed, the model number field will NOT display on the product reviews page.
I realize this is pretty much a bandaid solution, but coming up with a solution that allows the product model field to display when both TPP and Zen Colorbox are installed and active is over my paygrade to execute. I don't know if the issue is in the TPP code, or the Zen Colorbox code or if a change needs to be made in both. Again, someone smarter than me will need to figure this out. So I am sharing a down and dirty solution that works.
Okay.. I think I found it.. The RIGHT answer.. the key to the answer was in the includes/modules/pages/product_reviews_write/header_php.php file..
The includes/modules/pages/product_reviews/header_php.php file was using different code to display the model number. And this code would display the model number incorrectly when Zen Colorbox (or Zen Lightbox) was installed and active..
Here's the correct fix:
in the includes/modules/pages/product_reviews/header_php.php file replace this:
with this:Code:if (zen_not_null($review->fields['products_model'])) {
$products_name = $review->fields['products_name'] . '<br /><span class="smallText">[' . $review->fields['products_model'] . ']</span>';
} else {
$products_name = $review->fields['products_name'];
}
Code:$products_name = $review->fields['products_name'];
if ($review->fields['products_model'] != '') {
$products_model = '<br /><span class="smallText">[' . $review->fields['products_model'] . ']</span>';
} else {
$products_model = '';
}
Can anyone help? I installed this on one of these new responsive templates but all I can get it to do is open a new window with the main image... Any ideas?
OOPS! Forgot... ZZ 1.5.1, Go Daddy, using Picaflor Azul's Responsive Apparel Boutique template...
www(dot)rossales(dot)com/rs3
It's Colorbox I'm having the problem with... When I click on any product image it opens a totally new window and... that's it. No slideshow. I have another 1.51 site where the Colorbox is working but I haven't been able to determine why it won't work in this one - all the code seems to be in place...
I have now found a difference using Inspect Element plug in, but don't know how to change it. When I open a product page and inspect the main image, the generated code on the site I'm working one shows the image class as "product_images", but on the site where the ColorBox works it shows as "product_images cboxElement" (that's with a space before cboxElement). Trouble is, I don't know how to fix this...
Found out where to change it (tpl_modules_main_product_image.php), but it didn't help... (Darn!)... Back to the drawing board...
It says beta testing... I'm interested!... Go ahead, I'll be a guinea pig!... :cool:
I don't mind to post it to the community, I just don't have any time to support it, and feed weird offering something with no support.
Thoughts?
No worries dude.. I wouldn't submit it unless I thought it was stable.. (trust me.. it is.. :smile:) Besides.. it's the Zen Cart community.. you KNOW that eventually someone picks up the reigns for the good add-ons.. :smile: I was just gonna make the recently posted changes to it and submit it..
I'll upload it tonight then.
d
I did not change anything from the one I sent you before. No Time :(
OK... not sure if this would be helpful... been working on a responsive upgrade for one of my sites... still haven't upload yet so can't test this on a small device, seems to work resizing the browser. Love the colorbox mod... way easy to install.
Running Zen 1.5.1
Responsive blue... can't really say it's blue anymore..
jquery 1.10.2.min
jquery colorbox v1.4.4 (2013) to fix an conflict, had to upgrade colorbox and jquer min..
added this just above the </head> tag in template html_header.php file
In testing the colorbox resized to meet the screen width... hopefully I can test it soon live...Code:<script type="text/javascript">
// Make ColorBox responsive
jQuery.colorbox.settings.maxWidth = '95%';
jQuery.colorbox.settings.maxHeight = '95%';
// ColorBox resize function
var resizeTimer;
function resizeColorBox()
{
if (resizeTimer) clearTimeout(resizeTimer);
resizeTimer = setTimeout(function() {
if (jQuery('#cboxOverlay').is(':visible')) {
jQuery.colorbox.load(true);
}
}, 300);
}
// Resize ColorBox when resizing window or changing mobile device orientation
jQuery(window).resize(resizeColorBox);
window.addEventListener("orientationchange", resizeColorBox, false);
</script>
I got the code from another forum post, and was looking at the same answer for myself, thought I'd pass it along.
So I just sent niestudio the Colorbox module with all of the recent changes included. I even updated the colobox version to the latest version. He will be submitting it soon..
This is reason that I can not find it in plugins @@
Now Available for download:

enjoy
OK, I notice that chrome has a nice size for the popup window but seamokey and firefox both resize it down to almost the same size as the product promo image, even though I have both IH3 and colorbox set to have them 750x750
any idea how to make the images larger in the colorbox popup?
I forgot to ask here: it says "If Enable Resize Animations is set to true, the lightbox will resize its width from this value to the current image width first displayed."
Where do I find enable resize animations at?
My zencart was 1.5.1 language is japanese and english, japanese is default language. japanese language id is 2. then i follow your instruction, when i used install_1.5.sql to install, it shows some mistake as bellow, and it has a Zen Colorbox setting menu, but when i click Zen Colorbox setting, there were nothing in it, it was blank.
Success 5 statements processed.
Error ERROR: Cannot insert configuration_key "" because it already exists
Error ERROR: Cannot insert configuration_key "" because it already exists
Warning Note: 1 statements ignored. See "upgrade_exceptions" table for additional details.
so can you help me.
BTY, what files in the support files assets, must i upload them, if they must be upload, then upload to where. thanks very much
ok, how many times did you try to install it?
It looks like you tried to run the installer a couple of times and that is why it is telling you those items already exist.
I would suggest you open the zip and see the contents, then go to your server files and make sure that all the files were uploaded in their exact same folders.
I think you may be missing some files.
I am fairly sure that the only files you need to upload are the ones in the folder called 1_installer_files -- make sure you open the folder for includes, see what/where those files are located and make sure you have them on the server. Then do the same thing with the YOUR_ADMIN folder, again make sure you have them all uploaded to the exact same folder it calls for.
Then just go to admin and see if it will work again.
thanks for your reply.
The error message
"Success 5 statements processed.
Error ERROR: Cannot insert configuration_key "" because it already exists
Error ERROR: Cannot insert configuration_key "" because it already exists
Warning Note: 1 statements ignored. See "upgrade_exceptions" table for additional details."
occurred first time when I try to install it. I did not do this twice. so I think the configuration_value did not insert into database, so there are blank.
I have upload the exactly folder to my sever.
sorry about the delay in getting to back to you...internet went bye bye
Still dicey internet but.... after you uploaded all the files to their proper folders on your server.... did you still get that message or just the time you posted earlier.
After uploading all the files did you go to configure/colorbox and does it work yet?
Are you familiar with looking through the database tablesin phpMYadmin?
sorry to reply you so late, it was my zencart problem, i used a new installed system, then it is ok
Does this mod require a version of Image Handler or is it wholly free standing?
no this mod does not require Image handler at all, just if you want to use both mods they will function together perfectly
I have not yet installed this plugin, as I need to do something with images that does not seem to be supported.
My image, image_MED are both gif. My image_LRG are all jpg. My small and medium images are a crop from a black and white document that has an outline of the image and text, so gif is by far the best. My large images are all actual product photographs so jpg is by far the best.
Is there a way to have this plugin not look for the file type (extension)? That's what I'm thinking to be a way to accomplish this, but perhaps there is a better way (other than converting all my gifs into jpgs)?
This is a LIGHTBOX module.. meaning it's an APPEARANCE module for images, not an IMAGE MANAGEMENT module..
You'll want to look at Image Handler which IS an IMAGE MANAGEMENT module.. You'll want to read through the usage section of the readme and pay attention to an often overlooked feature setting which converts file images upon upload.
For the record, it's not this module or even Image Handler which disallows mixed file formats.. ZEN CART disallows this..
Thanks for the reply.
So basically IF certain modifications within zencart files were made to allow mixed image file types, THEN there would be no confilics with this plugin and it should work (should)?
Thanks again for the reply
Not saying that at all.. If you want to modify ZEN CART's native image management to behave differently then ANY module which you use which deals with images will ALSO need to be modified since they are constructed to work with Zen Cart's native image management. (they don't seek to modify it, they ENHANCE/EXTEND it..)
I don't see the gain in modifying Zen Cart's native image management.. Image Handler will convert your .gif files to .jpg is there a reason you DO NOT want to do this??
Hi all, I have problem after install ColorBox. Some pictures are showing, but some are not. F.e.: http://www.puhy.cz/srazkomer-k-meteo...090-56185.html - but pictures of this product exist.
but f.e. this is ok: http://www.puhy.cz/led-pasek-samolep...8-5cm-780.html
Any ideas where is problem?
Many thanks
Looking at the web inspector, it seems to be unhappy with the title of your images (not the file names). Check the one you linked to, and see if there is a special character or something after WH1090http://i.imgur.com/nWVKO1q.jpg
Thanks Diva,
If that's the case, then you can see that there is (at least) a space at the end of your product name
http://i.imgur.com/8ExiLPE.jpg
Many thanks, I fix it :-)
Is it possible to enable clsose, prev and next button on colorbox image gallery like in lightbox?
Thx.
Why not... just a matter of editing the css and changing the images... not my code or idea, just modified the existing css ... sample 3 from the colorbox site. it's the way I changed my site to... I couldn't see the small buttons.
Oh... colorbox works on 1.5.3 too...
I need a bit of help please. I am installing the colorbox plugin, and I already have the jscript_jquery.min.php file in my template (avonlee contempo). I don't understand about merging these or if one should replace the other:
colorbox:
<script type="text/javascript">
if (typeof jQuery == 'undefined') {
document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));
}
</script>
avonlee:
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="<?php echo $template->get_template_dir('',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'jscript') . '/jquery.easing.1.3.js' ?>" type="text/javascript"></script>
also, I cannot find anything on in this support thread nor readme about what to do (if anything) with the files in 2_support_files/assets/
:yes: Yes, keep the latest greatest version... upgrade to meet the needs. The latest will have bug fixes... however... delete the jscript_jquery-min.js file.... why duplicate min when your loading it from Google! also, only keep one call to get min... don't need to duplicate the load, it will only server to slow your site down.
personally, I like to get the version of jquery I want to use and drop it into the script folder with the version within the name like
jscript_jquery-1.11.1.min.js, remove the calls to get it. old habits... if I can't read the code, I don't use it..
the down side to this, I'll have to go get the bug fixes myself... the upside, it's available to anything that requires it... let your template load jquary and comment out colorbox call...
colorbox works with jquary-1.11.1.min too... forgot I upgrade to it.... tested with jquary-1.11.0 on ZC 1.5.3
I saw the difference in version that you highlighted, BUT I do not understand the language and therefore do not understand if there is a difference in what is being done in the way the code is written (the 2 APPEAR to be completely different, so therefore I do not know if different things are being done)
OR are you basically saying that if I change this:
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="<?php echo $template->get_template_dir('',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'jscript') . '/jquery.easing.1.3.js' ?>" type="text/javascript"></script>
to this:
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="<?php echo $template->get_template_dir('',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'jscript') . '/jquery.easing.1.3.js' ?>" type="text/javascript"></script>
that it can be used WITHOUT even uploading the other?
OTHER QUESTION PLEASE:
When I use the default pop-up (colorbox false), the pop-up large image window closes upon clicking anywhere on it.
Should the colorbox close in the same way, by clicking anywhere on the image?
It closes upon clicking off the image area (overlay).
I take that back... when I click on the medium image from the product info page, the browser window changes to a window displaying the large image, with the image shrunk to fit the window/page size. When I click on the image it goes from fit to full size with a magnifying glass from - to +.
To return (close the large image) I must click on the back arrow on the browser (setting: Close on Overlay Click = true)
Esc also does not close it. Tried 2 different browsers too.
OHHHHHHH Divaaaaaaa!!!!!
I figured you would know better than me...does colorbox work with IH4 in 1.5.3?
I know that the Zen Lightbox does due to the shared file but was wondering if this mod would work too and if so what to do with the shared file. I don't think the colorbo file includes the needed info for IH, does it?
Hi Fellow Zenners
I really like the look of this addon and it installed without a glitch or so I thought... I have no tried to add additional images i.e. picture (Main) picture_2 and picture_3 and they show up in my products page as expected but for some reason only the main image "picture" open inside the color box. The two additional image open in what looks like the standard Zen Cart browser kinda thing. Please help

works for me!!
if you missed editing/installing the additional_images.php file or didn't setup additional images then it won't work. You can test additional images by turning off scripting in your browser and reloading the page. If during the test you still don't get additional images to work, then it's not colorbox...
I don't use IH so can't say if it works or not...Quote:

interesting....I verified each and every file in each and every directory yesterday and it did not work. Today, I simply uploaded the files again and it works like a charm. This sort of thing is really aggravating when you do not know what was actually wrong. Corrupted FTP???
Thanks
Chris
Since you STILL have not posted a link you are leaving us to GUESS what might have happened, but if you have IH4 installed and did not follow the instructions in the readme for installing both, then I MIGHT expect the issue you reported.. but again since you are making us GUESS.. **shrug**
well, I fixed it lol. So a link now does not help! :)
I had the link posted in the thread...then said to myself "why don't you transfer the files one more time just to make sure you are not missing something?". Then it worked.
http://radiant-holidays.com/radiant_...roducts_id=185 is the example I was working with.
I mentioned the link because it's not just about helping YOU, others read/research the support threads to find answers for their own issues.. Details posted help us help you, and it helps others who read the support threads as well..
As I suspected you DO have IH4 installed and I will GUESS (since you didn't say..) that you installed IH4 AFTER installing Zen Colorbox.. The readme files for both modules have clear instructions for installing both Zen Colorbox and IH4 together... A re-install of Zen Colorbox would resolve the issue..
Ah, now I know what happened! My original IH4 install was incorrect! So IH4 did not actually install at that time. Zen Colorbox was installed after IH4 but that was BEFORE I corrected the IH4 install issue! I then found my IH4 install error which got IH4 installed. But this was AFTER Zen Colorbox was installed! And as I said right before this, I reinstalled Zen Colorbox one last time and that did indeed fix the issue. :)
In the interest of fully documenting this issue, I would like to address the contents of the readme files specifically.
I remember reading the below about Zen Lightbox in the IH4 readme....but I was not installing Zen Lightbox! :shocking:
I did fully review both readme files. Neither readme file specifically mentions each other by name. IH4 is fully 100% clear on installing IH4 with Zen Lightbox per the quote above. I did finally find a reference in the Zen Colorbox credits saying that Zen Colorbox was based on Zen Lightbox but that is not mentioned anywhere else I could find. But this was not until AFTER the my installation. Would it not be prudent to add Zen Colorbox to the IH4 readme by name and vice versa? I am not sure it would have helped me with my issue. But I am sure that I will not be the only one to miss this important connection.Quote:
If you are using Fual Slimbox or Zen Lightbox with Image Handler4 you MUST read the "Misc" tab.
Thanks
Chris
Would this mod work for the various popup pages eg info_shopping_cart. Struggling to work out which files to edit with what. Thanks
Not part of the core code.. Images only.. There is a BETA version in the authors Github repo which is in response to this issue: https://github.com/daniel-hopkins/zen-colorbox/issues/9.
Be advised that the code is UNTESTED and INCOMPLETE, and there is NO SUPPORT for it here really. In order to have continuity across a shop using this module, the plan was to address ALL the popups in the list. 3 remain outstanding, and the author has been busy and has not been able to do any further work on this feature. ANYONE who wants this feature fully functioning to fork his repo and pick up where he left off on this feature would be a hero! SHARE IT with the community!:smile:
I will be submitting an update to Zen Colorbox soon. The updated code is in my Zen Colorbox Github fork of the Zen Colorbox repo.. I submitted a pull request with my modifications to the master repo, but because the author has been busy he has not yet approved and incorporated my changes into his master repo.. So just know that IF you decide to install this version with this code and you also want the LATEST and greatest version, there will be discrepancies between my fork and the author's repo so you will have to merge them together..
