Installing 1.5.5 don't find admin page.
The shop is up and running, working fine as far as I can see.
I haven't tried to place any orders yet, so I don't know if that part is working.
On the admin side, it doesn't work at all.
I have two variations of errors:
1. I get the "System Setup Required" page.
2. I get a 500 error, internal server error.
The setup required page suggests this possible cause:
Your /includes/configure.php and/or /admin/includes/configure.php file contains invalid path information and/or invalid database-connection information.
I have checked the database connection, and also as the shop is working that must be correct.
What switches between the two errors is this:
from the admin/configure.php:
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/1/1/mysite/www/');
//define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/3/e/mysite/www/');
The first one gets me the "System Setup Required" page.
the second one (which is used by the shop also) gets me the 500 error, internal server error.
Where can I check what values are correct here?
I started the setup by installing in on another domain, and then copying everything over to the live domain.
The values in both configure.php files were carefully copied from the old files in the live shop.
I don't have any modifications, only a few addons, and two Languages.
Any other such values that must be copied tha same way?

Suggest that you install a copy in another directory on your live domain even if just for correct configure files with minimum editing required
Re: Installing 1.5.5 don't find admin page.
It could be that one of your 2 configure.php files has its permission set too high. Some hosts block the use of 777 for security reasons, in which case you need to use 755.
The '500' error is a generic "something went wrong" message, and the specifics are stored in server-side logs (not displayed to visitors, so hackers can't abuse the info to attack your site). So if the permissions thing isn't the cause of it, then work with your hosting company to view the logs.
More info: Why am I getting 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR messages?
Re: Installing 1.5.5 don't find admin page.
I worked around it last might.
Scratch everything (after making copies of all the files and the database), and make a new clean installation.
Then copy all the data back into the database files, and also all the php-files back in their catalogs.
Everthing works fine now.
The only thing I miss is the link to zen-cart in the upper right corner, where we now have "Admin Home", "Storefront", "Version", "Account" and "Logoff"

That was commented on by another user in the forum as well. I don't have the files open at the moment, but the link could be added back if space and formatting can be found/identified.
