Re: dover fine - removing links
You want to remove all those links, or just some of them?
Re: dover fine - removing links
just some of them, maybe edit them if not remove
Re: dover fine - removing links
There are switches in the admin, or modules you need to turn off, to hide links in the information side box. If you search the forum for a specific link to remove you should find posts that will help.

Please when posting about having done something can you be more specific?
How did you attempt removing the Gift Certificate FAQ? Did you open a file (which one?) and remove some code (which code?) or did you go into the admin area to some configuration group (which one?) and change the setting (which one?), or perhaps went to a module or maybe a tools option?
Then regarding the 500 error, there may be a myDebug-xxx log in your logs directory that identifies what happened. But the thing is, what was done that caused that 500 error? If done correctly the link should not be displayed and the only way to get to where it should have been would be to know the link address to try and to enter it directly in the browser.
Please do what you can to explain what you had to do. We (those of the forum) can not see your keyboard or your monitor, so the more you can tell everyone the easier it is to identify the problem and a solution.

Thank you for your reply.
The error message pop up after I go into Admin - Modules - Order Total, select Gift Certificates, it show Edit or Remove, I press the "Remove" Button.

Yes, that's how I would remove the GV_FAQ from the Information sidebox. If you still get the 500 error do you have a myDebug-xxx log in your logs directory, for that action?
Edit: this method of removing the GV_FAQ link assumes you want to remove GV completely - which you obviously do.

Hi Simon,
I found the easier way,
I go into public_html/includes/modules/sideboxes/dover_fine/information.php
Line 47 & 48
// only show GV FAQ when installed
if (MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_GV_STATUS == 'true') {
I changed it to
// only show GV FAQ when installed
if (MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_GV_STATUS == 'false') {
Now, the sidebox Gift Certificated FAQ is not show. :)
Thank you.
