Store side not loading correctly after 1.5.7d upgrade
I have a fresh install of 1.5.7d with an upgrade to my current database. The admin side is working fine. The store side is still saying I need to install Zencart. I have looked at the paths and credentials in the store's configure.php over and over and over, and I swear they are correct. No entries in the error logs. Is there anything else besides invalid paths or database credentials that could cause this?

From what ZC version was the site upgraded?

From 1.5.5a. Everything seems to be fine on the admin side. I can see and edit products, customers, orders, etc. Just can't get the store side to load properly.

Check that the storefront's /includes/configure.php file's been updated correctly. It should contain a minimum amount of information, as indicated in the dist-configure.php:

I'll look again, but I started with a copy of dist-configure.php and added only the relevant paths and credentials. I've compared those with the paths and credentials in the admin side configure.php character by character and can't see any difference. I even made sure my transfer protocol was set to text on the ftp program when I uploaded it.
I might just start over with dist-configure.php and do it all over again.

Mumble, grumble...thank you, Mike! I should have asked you for help to begin with but I've bombarded you guys with questions lately already.
That's one I won't forget.
