element positioning issue
This site is still under development, and I have an issue I can't sort. I have been assuming it is a css issue, but I am now not sure. On some pages the mainWrapper loads in a different position, or at least seems to. After loading the home page at
www.thedollhouse.com.au/014
pages like 'login' will see a movement in the mainWrapper. From the links on the home page, 7 pages will load as does the home page, and 6 will load as does the login page. This from the same css. I have no index_home.css or login.css active.
I can't pinpoint the source of this after some hours using developer tools in Chrome and Firefox.
Re: element positioning issue
What exactly do you call movement,
the only movement I am seeing is caused by the scroll bar appearing on the right hand side in long pages like the login page, whereas on the shorter homepage, no scrollbar appears. switching between the two pages causes the layout as a whole to move 5 or so pixels to the left or right depending on which page you are switching to
If I hide the content on the main page to make the page shorter, and then switch to the login page there is no movement at all
Re: element positioning issue
Thank you for that. Couldn't see that for looking. Not an ongoing issue then, because all pages will have longer columns at the least, so when product content and sideboxes are set up, no movement will occur.
Much appreciated.
