Do I need a drop-down for state, for customers from other countries?
I had only customers within the United States.
Let say if someone from the United Kingdom register and in my Database its only for United States and I removed the rest. Will that customer from United Kingdom able register on my site since there is no drop down menu for State?

You should still have a "state" dropdown but not a "country" dropdown
I think that the state drop down would prevent someone from entering just any state/province
