Shipping table method incorrect
I have the cost for shipping being done by the table method. The table is defined as
2:2.50,5:9.75,7:11.75,10:18.75,
15:20.75,20:25.75,25:30.00, 30:35.00,35:40.00,40:45.00,
45:50.00,50.55.00
For a test case of a product that half a pound ( 0.5 ), the shipping is being calculated as $9.75. It is as if it is ignoring the decimal point in the weight when doing the calculations. The weight is being displayed properly as 0.5 pounds.
Re: Shipping table method incorrect
I'm not sure whether this will make a difference or not but you have a little mistake there..
2:2.50,5:9.75,7:11.75,10:18.75,
15:20.75,20:25.75,25:30.00, 30:35.00,35:40.00,40:45.00,
45:50.00,50:55.00
Re: Shipping table method incorrect
thanks, but it didn't make a difference. I also did two of them for a total of 1 pound and it still gave 9.75
Re: Shipping table method incorrect
Is Calculation Method set to Weight?
Re: Shipping table method incorrect
I just tried to have 5 of them for a weight of 2.5 pounds. It went to 11.75. the next level.
So (ith added tests) we have:
1 ==> 9.75
2 ==> 9.75
2.5 ==> 11.75
4 ==> 11.75
4.5 ==> 18.75
5 ==> 18.75
While the table says it should be
0->2 ==> 2.5
2(+)->5 ==> 9.75
5(+)->7 ==> 11.75
7(+)->10 ==> 18.75
It appears as if the calculation is adding 3 pounds to the weignt and then calculating the costs. (1,2 become 4,5; 2.5,4 become 5.5,7; 4.5 becomes 7.5)
Re: Shipping table method incorrect
Yes, the calculation method is set to weight.
Re: Shipping table method incorrect
Check your tare settings..
Admin>Config>Shipping/Packaging
Re: Shipping table method incorrect
Yes. the tare had 0:3 so it was adding 3 pounds. However, I changed that to 0:0 and it still gave $9.75. I even emptied my cart and closed the app, returned and it was still $9.75 for 2.5 pounds.

According to your intended rates from your previous post, that's correct.
