Remove item from shop when placed in cart?
For V 1.3.7:
I am having a 'Clearance Sale' where there are many 1 only items. I know that once an item is sold out, the item is removed from the store. But what I don't want is "poaching", so that 14 people don't all put a single available item and the first to checkout "wins".
Is there a way (maybe in newset version....gulp....) that flags 'Remove when in Basket' versus 'Remove when Sold'? I guess if it's placed in a Basket and Removed, or if the user bails out without buying, it has to put it back in stock and it magically reappears in the store..

Re: Remove item from shop when placed in cart?
Only if there is a mechanism that fixes my current issue. Doing a major upgrade right before a big sale is, in technical terms, "a really bad idea".
I do see (and verified) a half-assed solution: you can check the flag to not allow checkout if the quantity is 0 or less. But the product listing is still there even if placing item in cart results in 0 quantity.
Does 1.3.9 solve this?
Re: Remove item from shop when placed in cart?
No. Zencart removes products from stock when checkout is complete, rather than when placed in the shopping cart, which is the best option for most Zenners, who don't sell one-of-a-kind items. There's no mod I'm aware of that will change that.
