HTML e-mails stopped working
We recently updated our store to 1.5 for 1.3.9h and first thing we noticed after making the site live was that it no longer sends html e-mails.
I've checked the following:
(config->e-mail options)
- Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails = true
- Send E-Mails = true
- I've tried to send e-mails both from the admin (tools -> send email) and from the store, but it only shows up as text either way.
- In the e-mail_archive table in the database, nothing is written to the e-mail_html field.

and the customer you are testing with, what is their settings with regards to HTML versus text e-mails?? There is a customer preference setting for this which overrides the store setting..
Re: HTML e-mails stopped working
All my customers are set to recieve HTML e-mails.
Edit: When I send e-mails from the admin-area, I send them to myself. When I compose it, I insert some list items in the html area and this shows up in the preview before I hit send. Still, nothing is written to the db after it has been sent. As the site is live, my customers are sending me e-mails daily wondering why the e-mails they recieve suddenly appear different.
Re: HTML e-mails stopped working
I did a search on the forums and found a solution the problem. I needed to create a folder with a language code corresponding to my carts default language (no for norwegian) inside the e-mail folder and put all the e-mail templates in there. I guess I just forgot to include this from the old installation.
