Download products still show shipping option in checkout

Hello,

All my products are downloads and it says in the tutorial for adding downloads to set Product Is Virtual and Always Free Shipping to NO because the cart knows it's a download but in the checkout I am still given the shipping options. Any ideas?

You should have Downloads set as:

The checkout knows that Downloads have no shipping based on the Download filename on the Attribute ...

On your other Attributes for the Product do you have any weight or anything?

Install the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper shipping module and in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... set this to 1:

You only need to do this as you have both Download attributes and regular attributes mixed on your download Products so the checkout_shipping page is showing ...

If I set the Products to Virtual or Always Free Shipping will it skip the shipping page completely? Or will doing that mess up the download somehow?

Setting Downloads as Virtual or Always Free Shipping can mess up shipping so don't do that ...
