Misc questions

Zen Cart version 1.3.9h.
Not Upgraded.


I have a bunch of issues that I'd like to solver with your help.

1.- I'm working with Zen Cart in 2 languages, one of them uses accents, so even if I have set character encoding to UTF-8 to the right one, i'm still receiving this symbol ó when trying to see invoices from the Admin Panel, once I open Admin Panel accent display correctly, but when linking to Store Config for example all accents aren't displayed correctly, like this � on accents. What can I do if i'm setting in mylanguage.php the right utf-8.

2.- Is there a way I can leave the user to print their invoices? Print Button on "My Account"

3.- User Invoice on My Account: where can I add more o less information? is that customizable from Admin Panel?

4.- From where I can change email notifications, user receives?

5.- I have an issue with images, when editing a product the image is broken, there is no way to see the picture correctly from the admin panel, even the picture product is displayed OK on the front End.

6.- Should I upgrade to 1.5.0?

1. What is the collation on the database? Probably not utf-8 . It is possible to change it to utf-8, but there are also several files in ZC that need editing as well. I have seen a tutorial about this... I think there is a good tutorial by the chap who built the japanese language module. Search google for "zencart japanese language module"

2. if images are not showing correctly, then you are either not saving them as web-ready jpg/gif/png, or that you have a damaged php file (perhaps). As you do not clearly explain WHEN these images appear to be "broken", it is impossible to advise further.

I do that on most sites i work on, I have bundled it all into a mod that I'll attach here

Updating my issue list:

1.- Done: Still receiving symbols on some pages, but almost fixed adding UTF-8 to the page related with the module.
