Unable to modify includes\configure.php

I just had a new install of 1.50 on my server by Godaddy for my store. I have an SSL cert installed, non-shared, and have modified the template to Red Passion.

I have been trying to enble the SSL cert in the includes\configure.php file to equal 'true' however, every time I change it over and then test it (both in FF and IE) the url that it tries to connect to is https://feydragon.comhttps/index.... I have searched through out all the code, if it is set to 'false' it works like a charm, but that won't work.

Any help or thought about where I might have messed this up would be greatly appreciated. I've set it to 'true' incase you want to look at what is going on.
