Re: Time Zone Fix Support Thread
Hi Gilby,
I'm been running your mode perfectly until now. The time is change again.
I'm in Australia. I've try to re-install the mode a couple times and it still not working.
Maybe the time server http://php.net/manual/en/timezones.php is not up-to-date. Not sure.
Is there other ways to fix this.

What has changed about your website. Upgraded, installed new mods etc?

Re: Time Zone Fix Support Thread
other solution just Edit the PHP.INI file to specify the correct timezone will be OK...if you use PHP5
Edit or Add this line to the php.ini:
date.timezone = "America/Denver";
Use the appropriate option at http://php.net/timezones

Use the appropriate option at
http://php.net/timezones
That will set the "php" time
but you also need to set the "mysql" database time!
Re: Time Zone Fix Support Thread
Hi gilby,
I'm using your Time Zone Fix and the only file i have is time_zone_fix.php.
and the codes:
PHP Code:
<?php
// Full list of timezones here: http://php.net/manual/en/timezones.php
//
// You can modify the TZ (Time Zone) by using a named Country/City
// eg:
// TZ=America/Los_Angeles
// TZ=America/Denver;
// TZ=America/Chicago
// TZ=America/Costa_Rica;
putenv ('TZ=Australia/Melbourne');
?>
The code is still the same when i first installed it.
and the query_factory.php is still the same.
The time i get Sun, 21 Aug 2011 11:38:37 -0500GMT.
Maybe i've have installed some new mod, but don't know where to start. :blush:. Please help.

Well there is only 3 files to this mod...
So checking that the correct version on the file is in the correct place shouldn't take too long.
Remember the renamed YOUR_RENAMED_ADMIN directory needs to be altered.
I notice you mentioned that you started having problems just before you noticed you had been hacked.
Could be something left over from this?...
Otherwise what has your host changed on your server?
Re: Time Zone Fix Support Thread
I haven't check with my host about this. I give this a try. Thanks gilby. Will update you about it.
Re: Time Zone Fix Support Thread

Well..... You don't need to....
This mod relies on the php on your server using an up to date list of time zones throughtout the world and should automagically set those times.
If you are finding that it isn't following summer and winter time
then your server is not set up correctly with the up to date list of time zones or you have chosen a time zone that doesn't follow that version of summer/winter time.
You may need to choose a different more relevent time zone for your area.
Re: Time Zone Fix Support Thread
I just can't get this mod to work. Tried different timezones just to test if the other timezones works. But nothing, the TZ remains the same. :(
Anyone else who had this problem and solved it?
I spoke with my host and they said it's either something wrong with the script or I did something wrong adding it.
I defenately added the files correctly.
