Error in Currency Update via CRON confirmation email
Hi Guys,
Just wondering if somone coud shead a little light on why the following errors are appearing in the CRON confirmation email:
Warning: include(/home/*** USR DIR ***/public_html/***/includes/languages/english): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/***/public_html/*** ADMIN DIR ***/includes/init_includes/init_languages.php on line 38
Warning: include(): Failed opening 'includes/languages/english/' for inclusion (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php56/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php56/usr/share/php') in /home/*** USR DIR ***/public_html/*** ADMIN DIR ***/includes/init_includes/init_languages.php on line 38

Re: Error in Currency Update via CRON confirmation email
What's the complete syntax of your cron job?
What happens when you run that same cron job yourself from the command line? (if you can)
There are 2 things odd with what you quoted, assuming you're running currency_cron.php:
1. it should be trying to include a .php file, not a directory name.
2. I would have expected it to load an admin language file, not non-admin.
Both of these suggest maybe you've got the store configured for another language, or your configure.php files may be nonstandard.

Hi Dr Byte,
Many thanks for your comments, sorry for the belated reply.
Yes I am running currency_cron.php, using the following syntax.
/usr/bin/php /home/*** USR DIR ***/public_html/*** ADMIN DIR ***/currency_cron.php
The english.php file in both admin and catalogue are configured to:
$locales = array('en_US', 'en_US.utf8', 'en', 'English_United States.1252');
I checked the configure files and they are pretty basic and are from the latest distribution?
The exchange rates are updating so this indicated the cron and currency script seem to be worrking ok.
It's just I have the errors in the email it would be nice to know why they are happening. ;)
Kind Regards
Les :)
