Special on several attributes only

Hello all,

We are doing a 2 days 50% off special on 2008 products. Our products are setup to have 2008 and 2009 products by attributes. So one t-shirt might have 2008 colors and 2009 colors, all under one product.

My question is, if I set up a 50% special on that t-shirt, how can I only apply it to the 2008 colors only? I tried to set "Apply Discounts Used by Product Special/Sale" to "no" in the attribute controller for the 2009 colors only, but it still applies the 50% discount on them.

Any thoughts?

Also, is there a way to disable coupons on products/attributes that are on sale?

There is nothing to exclude Discount Coupons because of Sales or Specials, at this time ...

As to allowing specials on some attributes and not on others ... there is a setting for this on the attributes:

Do not change anything... Could it be stock by attributes mod breaking it?

No idea ... I don't use that add-on ... perhaps check the support thread on it to see ...
