UPS stopped working... New to Zen
Hello,
I'm new to ZenCart... I have set up a cart (no major editing) and all of a sudden, the UPS Module stopped working! :down: I receive the following error:
"We are unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS shipping."
I'm a bit lost at this point.

I have a cart this has happened on as well and I am in no way a newbie to zen. Does anyone have any ideas why this has suddenly happened ?

Update - I fixed the one that was having problems - it was in the settings under Configuration/Shipping
The setting for Maximum Weight you will ship was set to 0 - I changed that to 500 and now ups works again.
Anyone else having this problem might wanna check that setting:smartass:

it only works in US.... not anywhere else, right?

That I am not sure of - I thought that UPS Shipped Internationally ....

UPS that comes with the Zen Cart core code works for Shipping From the US to anywhere in the world ...
To Ship From Anywhere in the World ... you need the UPS XML shipping modules ... which does not come standard with Zen Cart at this time ...
Do a search on: UPS XML or look in the WIKI on 3rd Party ...

I also had this problem and found that I had yet to enter my ZIP code in the Configuration/Shipping section. I added that and now UPS knows where I am shipping from and boom, fast actin tenactin, it works!!
