ALERT: PayPal Direct Payment Error (0 )
Hello. We've been getting something odd with payment pro (see below). The problem is that we get a PayPal Direct Payment Error alert, the transaction is "approved" (as per the notification below and confirmed in paypal) but the shop thinks the payment has been declined and does not recognise the sale. Here is what we get :-
####################################################################################################____
ALERT: PayPal Direct Payment Error (0 )
Dear store owner,

We get this about once in every 15 transactions. Any suggestions?
Many thanks

Re: ALERT: PayPal Direct Payment Error (0 )
I just received a very similar message on a transaction - funds show up in Pay Pal but the Sale in Zencart is no where to be found.
The "Error Message" does not show an Error Code...
Any ideas on what might cause this???
Thanks,
Allan

Re: ALERT: PayPal Direct Payment Error (0 )
Have been getting this problem for a while - and figured out what is happening but just dont know how to fix it. Dr We need you!
I do get code 0
and it also relates to double payments going into the paypal manager which we have to refund - this is an example:
Customer processes payment
it then looks like something times out
Customer the presses complete payment again - however I have disabled the complete payment button as soon as its pressed (turns it into a "Please Wait...." button)
This results in the following 2 transactions (1 for each button press) only the second transaction creates an order - no order is created for the first one.

Is there any other information that may be needed
PayPal Website Payments Pro Errror 0
Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to intergrate paypal pro onto my site 1.3.8a
Doing some test transactions, I'm being taken back to step two with a red warning at the top saying 0. However I can see my transactions are actually going through.
Obviously need to sort this out as the site is live.. Panic!!
Any help would be much appreciated.
Shane

*** BUMP ***
Does anybody have a solution??
Somebody must be using payflow with ZenCart, surely
Re: ALERT: PayPal Direct Payment Error (0 )
Hi, Did you find an answer to this?
I have the same problem....
Re: PayPal Website Payments Pro Errror 0
You probably won't want to hear this, but step one is to upgrade to Zen Cart version 1.3.9, which has an awful lot of Paypal-related updates to cope with both changes at Payal, and squeeze out some ZC-end bugs.
The people with the expertise and knowledge to answer questions in this area will most likely have upgraded their / their clients' sites long ago so won't have current knowledge to share.
Re: PayPal Website Payments Pro Errror 0
HI kuroi,
Yeah, I've just been reading up on that, and infact was just about to bite the bullet and start doing it;
However I've just came across this method, and it seems to have fixed my problem.
http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...183#post593183
So not sure weather to upgrade...?
Thanks for you reply.
Re: PayPal Website Payments Pro Errror 0
Upgrade. That fix is from two and a half years ago and worked then, with Paypal as it was at that time.
A lot's changed since then, and as you've found, if you keep running old code, it's more likely to break and there'll be less or no support to help fix it.
Re: PayPal Website Payments Pro Errror 0
grrr, ok I will,
Thanks for the advise
