How to change the maximum length for postcode?

Hi,

I just noticed that the maximum length for a postcode is 10 character. In the shop configuration I could only find how to change the minimum value. Anyone know how to change the maximum value?

Found the following entries in the DB:
`entry_postcode` varchar(10) NOT NULL default '',
`customers_postcode` varchar(10) NOT NULL default '',
`delivery_postcode` varchar(10) NOT NULL default '',
`billing_postcode` varchar(10) NOT NULL default '',

Would I only need to change the value 10 to something higher? Or is there more to it?

Changing the 10 to something larger in each instance should do it. Back up your DB first.

Which country has postal codes requiring more than 10 characters? You've got me curious.

says it's nnnn-nnn format, but the city is appended to the postcode in standard address format for that country.

I was thinking the same thing. But he filled in city: Esposende
Will contact the customer and check. In the meantime I I edited the database :)
