Thanks Nick. That worked! However, when changing the category color to black the ez pages links above the categories box are now black to and hence invisible. Also the "Home" text has turned black....

This is what I get for working while overtired. Somehow I have changed/added some code that has pushed my sideboxes down. Also, my category font is now white hence invisible, which I don't remember...

Well I just figured it out. There are 2 different file managers on my cpanel. For some reason only the "Legacy" manager allows 444. Thanks again!
