There's only but so much over on the ZenCart side... But the Checkout by Amazon side, since it looks like they abandoned the development of the page. I can't do much else with it.
Was just about to suggest looking there. But the customers should still receive an email from Sandbox but it will be labeled with Sandbox Amazon images instead.
This payment method does NOT show up as anything more than a button on the shopping cart page. You will not see this after you proceed to "Checkout" due to Amazon rules and regulations. (Similar to...
I do recommend changing hosts. Without the Cron Job running, there is no way to pull the orders processed on Amazon including payment update information. You can get around it, kind of, by running...
Where are you getting the blank page? You shouldn't be trying to access that page directly as it doesn't provide any output whatsoever and is used by ZenCart when it loads a page.
Is your website(s) set up in ZenCart to redirect to the homepage in the event of an error or 404 or 500 or anything?
The checkout_by_Amazon.php file shouldn't redirect you nowhere but instead...
Are you running the CRON job as well? Did you make sure to have the checkout_by_amazon.php file added in? Did you also make the change to the site about the DEFINE section I added in a while ago?
Sure.
Any orders that are processed via this module are reported in the Amazon orders with the ZenCart Database ID# instead of the product model as the Item ID. Is there a way to change this so...
CheckoutbyAmazon (sorry, I don't have another name to call you),
Would you happen to know if it's alright to change the code that uses the product ID to the product Model instead?
jpsbears,
Have you made these changes as well to your checkout_by_amazon.php file?
I would've commented out the code in the header.php with the <!-- and --> tags but that works too I suppose. Do you still get the popup notification on that case?
You cannot currently use this...
Did you read my line about the define ("SESSION_BLOCK_SPIDERS") bit a few pages back?
After some fiddling around, I can safely verify that this module WORKS. It just takes some time for orders to appear where they should be since Amazon does not do instantaneous card processing. (The...
You may want to add a HTTP directive to the .htaccess file. I'm not sure which directive to add though.
Is this on a live/production run? Or Sandbox server?
I wouldn't try to direct someone to the checkout_success page. Two reasons:
1) You aren't creating a $_SESSION variable with the most recently made order or other details. So you're ALWAYS going...
Can you talk to me via PM so I can try to help fix this for you?
Are you using this on Production or the Sandbox?
The seller won't receive an email from the cart (I believe)... I'd have to check mine to make sure. Are all of the details correct in your panel? Have you properly set the return URL to it's proper...
Try moving up to 1.3.9g as this mod works with that version and for the safety of your cart, you should as well.
The log file which you posted has absolutely NOTHING to do with Checkout By Amazon. These only indicate a user or some process is trying to find the favorites icon which is standard on almost all...
What exactly do you mean by it refuses to work?
Here are my settings...
Cancel Payment Return Settings - The home page of the cart
Instant Order Payment Notification URL should be - the home page of the cart/checkout_by_amazon.php.
For...
1) To update the correct endpoint, you'd have to edit this in AmazonCentral. Also make sure that you're doing this under Sandbox and that your configuration details match those registered under...
A while ago I introduced a way on getting the cron "wget" to work with Zencart which involved deleting the entry of "wget" from spiders.txt inside the /zencart/includes directory.
After doing some...
It does indeed work. Just need to be careful of a few quirks, a full update hasn't been uploaded yet with the fixes discussed here.
Does your host provide access to wget?
Did you input the correct URL in the proper format with quotes and all? I'm not too familiar with GoDaddy hosting unfortunately.
It looks like to me that it does work. A successful load returns a 0 length log file since there is no output from /checkout_by_amazon.php?action=Everything except a blank page. If there was an...
Did you make the edit to your spiders file in the includes directory that I mentioned removing the line "wget" from the file?
Also can you copy/paste the exact error message from your log as well...
Ok now this is bothersome...
If you're getting the 500 server errors, I would go ahead and undo the change in the server. The 500 server error means that something stopped in the code and caused...
I have not tried this on a live site, However... you can attempt to do this. Copy IOPNXMLParser.php in the checkout_by_amazon/modules/order directory to your computer.
Rename the file...
Boggled, I just checked my own. Remove that line of code and just edit out the wget line from includes/spiders.txt.
Also check your cache directory for the error and paste that here as well.
If...
There's a line in includes/spiders.txt that has wget listed (by default). Go to your includes folder and remove the line of wget. Then wait for the next run.
This *SHOULD* fix the problem as I'm...
You're getting a 302 redirect code in there. Is your site up and running or is it down for maintenance?
I wish I could but I ended up clearing the cache folder where ZenCart posted the error messages. The general messages was that class XMLParser cannot be found at it gave me a reference to that....
DISREGARD THIS POST.
Evidently, this wasn't what caused the script to finally work, but something else did.
I have fixed issue three above. For some reason, the mysql function now() wasn't working, so I uncommented it and started to use the commented out code. And made some adjustments so that the server...
I am running into three problems.
1) Running the Cron script every 5 minutes generates a 500 Server Error message. Checking the script error logs and ZenCart logs and I see that I'm giving a...
It could be the javascript that is being included or the bunched CSS script that is autoloaded in a header file.
