As suggested by you all, adding $chk_products_in_cart = 0; solved the mystery.
It was not there in ZC1.5.4/PHP5.6 and worked fine.
Now I understand that PHP 7 is not forgiving as previous versions...

I found at freeshipper.php ZC1.5.4 the code of $chk_products_in_cart = 0;
But how could this help ?
Maybe the $chk_products_in_cart has a new variable @ZC1.5.5 ?

On a site that I upgraded from 1.5.4 / PHP 5.6 to 1.5.5f / PHP 7 some codes stopped working

If I remember right, you can control it in the admin backend

For viewing Mobile view @desktop you should type:
www.yoursite.com/index.php?main_page=index&display_mode=isMobile

For Tablet:
www.yoursite.coml/index.php?main_page=index&display_mode=isTablet
...

For me (windows Desktop Chrome) the click for #2 page worked.

Other problem you need to solve - no responsive at mobile...

@ttfan, try to delete the .htacess in /includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/images/ folder

Sounds strange...
My template images which are located at the same folder as yours, are not showing this warning message.
I have htaccess file in /includes folder. No htaccess under that directory....

I just saw now that the original .htaccess inside "includes" directory allready has the ExpiresByType
so only need to change the time you could accept for cache of your css / js files.
A3600 means...

By the way, my site's Apache configuration includes mod_headers.c and mod_expires.c
but still I was needed to make the above.

The CSS is meant to make it responsive...so when you look at the link I sent (picutre with text) in smaller screens
the picture and text will be organized differently.
