unzipped and uploaded to new test server
carried out ZC install

Nope - I wasn't moving hosts for any other reason than to have support. I have experienced support issues with our previous service providers.

I'm here - just going through my backups - I have a DB back up of 16 November, and another of 24 November. The former excludes any changes made and I'm going to run with that for now.

The site works, but admin doesn't

There wasn't a file as above, so I created the file in that location, and added that line, the only line in the file.

Enom support have told me that they won't edit the putenv in the /etc/php.ini file because we're on a shared hosting environment. The .htaccess file needs altering.

I have called our host and related the permissions issue to their agent.

We changed a few settings, including the hosting settings to point the /httpdocs directory to the root...
