Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]

Okay, good to know. However, I take it from your wording that these steps will not remove category keywords. Is that correct?

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]

I want to remove the /category-c-1_2/ portion from the url, and I am having a tough time locating how SSU builds the URLs.

apj_apj, did you run across the URL build function when looking at the...

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]

This doesn't answer your question but from what I understood reading Google Webmaster Central's post on Demystifying the "duplicate content penalty" and its many links, Google tries to determine that...

Normally, they would be in the docs folder, but it looks like the ZIP doesn't contain all files again. Download an older version and try using those instructions in the meantime. You may also want to...

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]

I installed 2.9.6 and it is running like a charm so far. Thanks!

One support request though. I'd like my product page URLs to have nothing in front of them and I didn't run across a solution or...

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]

Oh, weird. I thought the "buy now" button not working (in category listings) was Ultimate SEO's issue (where I got the standard "get Magic SEO" response when asking there*). I know I accidentally...

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]

M., sorry no answer*, but if you are unaware, your "add to cart" links are not working from French Landscapes and probably elsewhere. BTW, I like your site. The design is so much better than many...

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]

Also, I am unsure about why any of these SEO solutions insist on putting the ID in the URL. What is the point if customers use unique product names? Does it have something to do with 301 Redirect?

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]

The direction Simple SEO is headed looks great. I love that the URL paths appear to be easily customized. But I'm not sure what all its drawbacks are (compared to Magic SEO Url, specifically). What...
