I use the current version and it works OK on v1.5.4.

It's possible when you have another language installed and that language pack translated the "TEXT" into something else.

User doesn't have to return to shop. The order will be created even the user close the browser. That's what the IPN is for. If you're missing Paypal order than your IPN is not working properly. check...

All my products are virtual product. No tax... no shipping fee. But some Paypal transactions are Web_accept others are Unique. I couldn't figure out the different between these two transaction types....

1. I don't know why it doesn't generate points. I have the same issue when order paid by Paypal.

2. The shipping cost be eared the points becuase you had "Allow Redeem of Reward Points on Order...

it looks like if txn_type=web_accept then the Reward Point gets generated... if txn_type=unique then there is no Reward Point for Paypal order

Just noticed some Paypal orders still didn't generate Reward Points :(
I guess I have to wait for the next release...
