Good news, "by mistake" I started uploading responsive Sheffield blue again, after about 20sec realized what I was doing, stopped the upload, and hey presto all now working (I think).

Yes I did back up the Layout controller.php and if I use the "OLD" file the layout box works fine except that it does't include the responsive sheffield blue boxes.
