2. the order comes in and through our payment settings for paypal IPN it is set to...

yes, we use Authorize.net, so how can our checkout page read the codes and say what happens when the order comes back and didn't go through.

any idea where it is coming from? how to fix it? do you think it is causing orders to fail?

it seems like it was getting caught up getting the shipping rates from UPS, would that make it hang up?
