  1. v155 Re: Checkout inoperable after upgrade from EasyApache3 to EasyApache4

Quick update if someone else needs this. Looks like I fixed it... at least for now.

The version of PHP was set to 7.1. Tried downgrading to 7.0 and had the same problem. Downgraded to 5.6 and...
  2. v155 Checkout inoperable after upgrade from EasyApache3 to EasyApache4

    ZC version: v1.5.5b.

My host upgraded Apache on the virtual hosting setup because cpanel/whm wouldn't be able to be upgraded until I did.

That upgrade was on Saturday morning. I thought it was...

Re: PO Box Ban [support thread]

First - sorry to hear about the surgery, and no worries on the delay. Hope you heal up well.

Address, specific with case sensitivity for the order that went through was "Po box 9140".

    DB......

Re: PO Box Ban [support thread]

By 'didn't modify code' I meant other than replacing files the directions stated I should.

Any ideas why I received an order from an existing customer with a shipping and billing address as a PO...

Re: PO Box Ban [support thread]

Howdy, I installed the 1.5a version of the mod on ZC 1.5.5b a couple of weeks ago. I copied the four files to the server and didn't modify code.

Got an order today to a PO box in Canada from an...
  7. v155 Re: Secure Session Cookies and jQuery upgrade.

    Hi Melanie,

Thank you for the reply. I should have come back and updated the thread. I'm usually good about that. I forgot this time.

It appears both might have been false positives. I...
  8. v155 Secure Session Cookies and jQuery upgrade.

I have two general issues from failure notifications through PCI. Wondering if someone might shed some light for me on the easy routes to remediation.

    First is "Non-secure session cookies...
  9. v155 Removing or styling For Office Use Only

I've seen a few questions like this result in a hack or two that won't survive an upgrade.

The reason for adjustment/removal is that the order confirmation emails sent to the admin span multiple...
  10. v154 Re: Safest route to emailing the opt-in newsletter crowd?

Hey Rixstix. One question. Do you use a plugin to export or phpmyadmin?
  11. v154 Safest route to emailing the opt-in newsletter crowd?

    Hey happy zenners,

I have two sites that have a combined list of about 7k people who have opted-in to receive newsletter updates. The management here wants to send out a notification to them...
  12. v154 Re: Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

Understood. I have to offer some pricing plans to the powers that be, so that's good to know. Thank you.
  13. v154 Re: Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

I brought up the idea of using mandrill with the senior management earlier this morning. I really agree, that might be the best route.
  14. v154 Re: Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

I will definitely do that. Thank you.

Also, to append more info, I got word from another of the tech support reps at IMH who dug a bit deeper than the others. He said he found in the logs that a...
  15. v154 Re: Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

Update: the problems started again and I found I was able to get errors in the contact form by repeatedly submitting it (thanks for the pointer on email being a potential culprit).

    From poking...
  16. v154 Re: Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

I did ask for anything, yes, good input, and thank you I'll add it to the list of things to look out for. All troubleshooting ideas should be welcome with people (just be careful doing it in...
  17. v154 Re: Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

It stopped as mysteriously as it began. Four days without an incident.

I did gather the associated transaction printouts and was getting ready to matrix those things together with processing...
  18. v154 Re: Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

There are no mydebug files in the timeframe of the recent duplicate transactions. Most recent mydebug file is from 5-27.

One duplicate that I'm sure of (because I remember the last name) shows...
  19. v154 Re: Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

That was superb. Thank you. I'll find out what I can.
  20. v154 Re: Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

The cutover date is entirely relevant to point away from the Akamai SureRoute as being the potential cause (even though not entirely conclusive due to the potential of back-end work on their...
  21. v154 Sudden duplicate authorize.net transactions? (Single order, double CC charges)

We have a relatively busy site that has started creating duplicate transactions/invoices in Authorize.net (for a single order, obviously).

Sometimes the zen cart orders aren't even generated (but...
  22. v154 Re: Enable UPS ground shipping only for International, Alaska, Hawaii.

At first I was thinking that I was to add both sections of code that you added. Is that true? Or am I just adding the second bit of code?

I'm asking because I'm looking closely at the first...
  23. v154 Re: Enable UPS ground shipping only for International, Alaska, Hawaii.

Okay. Two mods. One working down and one working up. I think I understand. When I can get to the files I'll test it out.

    Thanks!

(And sorry for not linking back to the other post, should...
  24. v154 Re: Enable UPS ground shipping only for International, Alaska, Hawaii.

The lower 48 zone is set up and working well with both free shipping and table rates. No problems there. Found the SQL statements in an older post and it worked out beautifully.
  25. v154 Re: Enable UPS ground shipping only for International, Alaska, Hawaii.

    Logic:

If >$50, offer free shipping and UPS expedited options only (no UPS ground).

If <$50, table rate for lower 48 is shown, UPS ground not shown, UPS expedited is shown.

    If International,...
  26. v154 Re: Free Ship over $50 lower 48+DC, remove UPS ground $ option, show as free.

Most of my problem (I thought) had gone away because we were switching to table rates. I just turned off UPS ground so it didn't display both the table rates and the UPS ground, leaving the customer...
  27. v154 Enable UPS ground shipping only for International, Alaska, Hawaii.

    Hi,

For the sake of ease, I disabled UPS ground shipping altogether for when using table rates (which I mistakenly thought we were using world-wide). Unfortunately the customer wants to use table...
  28. v154 Re: Free Ship over $50 lower 48+DC, remove UPS ground $ option, show as free.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks.

I suppose in the free shipping module (if there is one... I don't even know), instead of putting an estimated delivery I could just modify the "Free Shipping"...
  29. v154 Free Ship over $50 lower 48+DC, remove UPS ground $ option, show as free.

Orders over $50 are set up for free shipping using the SQL scripts to create the zone. That's working just fine.

What I'd like to do is to show instead of "Free Shipping" as the radio button...
