I will surely try that or more likely have our computer person set that up. I have another online retail store that doesn't deal in mixed product by bulk. I have to admit that the Canada Post module...
The reason I ask is due to having mixed lot sales and the shipping modules don't provide accurate estimates. Tried and turned off the shipping modules but, the checkout would then say something as...
I'm not sure what version you have, but you can just do this:
Do you have a URL for us to look at?
This is a great tutorial here.
It's not an SSL problem at all, disregard that article.
You know what's strange?
The .swf embedding are pretty much the same, the one you have and that fish site. I can see the flash on the...
Yeah, your flash doesn't work via IE 7 either.. Depending on your host, check out this htaccess mod. You might have to fish the net to get more background on that issue. You could also view the...
First and foremost, you have a lot of errors. Repair these and then check for cross browser compatibilities.
1) Your 'logo' is actually header_bg.jpg and the blue borders, around your logo, are part of the pic. Also, the borders around your shop are from a graphic as well.. contentBG.gif
2) If you are...
lol.. yeah, I HATE that amongst other known issues. I get around the problem by using 'Edit' in the FF browser and using the 'Paste' function from there.
If you're handy at coding.. try this for a guide.
I borrowed this from a contributer here with the screen name of kobra. I haven't used it, but I think it's what you want..
Thanks for supplying your URL.
The borders around the logo are the actual borders of the logo, you'll find a repaired and optimized version attached below to overwrite your current...
You're welcome, I was hoping that's what you meant.
Yeah, it's a pic of me. Thanks for the compliment.
No, I don't believe in marriage, I've got enough troubles as it is.
Yeah, everything seems to be in order. Well, I can see your CSS file and it's doing it's job.. but, no graphics files appear.
I can view your graphics, individually, when I call upon them via...
You're very welcome. I'm glad to hear of the good news, glad to be of service. :D
^ lol.. yeah, what a screw up that was.. time for a nap.
Like dbltoe suggested, it's a bad idea and you'll probably have to override core files. What ever you do though, don't turn off your 'send...
Are you sure all of the folder contents have uploaded, do you have a link?
#2..
Admin/Configuration/Email Salutation = false :wink2:
You're welcome. You have to place the file extention "back-up" .bak at the very end, so it would appear as stylesheet_css_buttons.css.bak. Then, if you like what you see and there are no problems.....
You're welcome. Okay, I think I know what you want. You may have set your individual products up wrong. You just have to adjust your products and reset the mix.
Individually, edit your...
I guess I should have been more clear instead of just highlighting the problem in red. That's what I was pointing out, but without the explaination. I have to remember to be more clear with things....
Hi, I have a test account on your site.. you can delete it now. -LL KK-
Sorry, for robbing your stock. You have set the available units to the mixed value, so every time someone orders that...
One more to go..
stylesheet_original.css:
background-image: url(../images/main_bg.gif);*/MAIN PAGE BACKGROUND*/
You're welcome. The main problem was an extra closing tag in the "Body" statement. IE was lenient to a point, while FF was not.
I'm afraid that the new customizing has brought forth more errors,...
Kirsten, I uploaded the repaired CSS files here. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing after work tomorrow, so you can have them when you see this message! There are still points of customization to...
I found the 'break' in FF. I also corrected your CSS errors. PM me with ur email addy and I can send them to you.
You can read about that here.
I know you are very frustrated/upset. I was too, at first. I made some bad noob errors and still do. By learning how to correct them, you learn not to make the same...
No way, I'm a trooper. lol
I have bad news.. in FF, the site is in ruins. We have to tend to the harder stuff first. They may not be hard after awhile, but a lot of stuff is in chaos. Okay, back...
I'm still here. Within my mass of browser windows, I have your site opened and I'm starting to give it the 'once over'. Yeah, there are a lot of problems that need addressing, but I've got your back....
Glad to help, I like giving back to a 'giving' community. You could aways donate to Zen Cart if you wish. Okay, I have two recent parse problems noted:
1) In your layout.css file, locate this...
The text fields in IE are rendered as white, I don't know why.. it's a custom template. On the other hand, the text fields in FF are rendered properly as black. The only way to please both browsers...
You beat me with that post. lol
You're welcome and good luck with your project!
No problemo. :wink2:

All that function "Preview" does is call upon the screen shot image of the template.
You're welcome. Sorry, I forgot to state the CSS file names.. the fix for your "text input" is to go into colors.css and the "legend" fix is to go into stylesheet.css.
If someone is using FF and tries to input text.. it won't show up. If you were to change only the input text to white, then peeps with IE won't see it. It's kind of a catch 22(whatever that really...
I use WISE FTP.
My window of post editing had closed. So, this will cure your text input fields to be cross browser compatible:
In your template CSS folder, find a.category-links(just below "Links"). From there,...
Yeah, you do.. I just read your subject line and I'm mental. lol
Click here. We have to fix your input fields too, in FF, they show black and text cannot be viewed. Stay tuned.
Sorry, I'm confused. Did you want to change the "Look Up Discount" color?
-Disregard... I see the form background color now
You're welcome. One more hint to go, you have a syntax error still.. in that same line for "Site Home", the only thing is that the closing tag is backwards. <a/> instead of </a>.
I guess that's a mod, instructions are here.
I also use a FF extention called FireBug. Those two things are very handy to analyse problems. It's just too bad I didn't have either before I had to go head first while weeding out problems. That's...
Find:
/includes/templates/maci/css/stylesheet_css_buttons.css
Add .bak to the file name. if you like the buttons better and there are no problems.. then delete the file.
Yeah, as kobra stated, that would be totally easier. It's too bad the customizing was done on Classic and not Default. The conversion won't be too much trouble tho. You could download a copy of the...
Yes, as well, you forgot a "; in your CSS. Look for:
#navEZPagesTop {
background-color: #000066 <---add the ";"
In the direction that Tina gave(tpl_header.php), did you mean to close off this...
How odd, I did see your privacy statement once.
FYI, you'll have to cut/adjust your logo to 760px wide.. that's what's pushing the tables out the left side. Your logo is currently 798px wide.
