i see what your saying with the modules now. yes there are 3 directories under modules in the admin panel payment shipping and order total.

i checked the files here and they are the same as stock file set.

i'm a little jaded here. i installed v1.39 on another domain and checked the paypal express checkout and it works right off the bat. what gives??

i redownloaded zen cart from the server and overwritten the those files. i tried going back to the express check out and face the same issue..

alright, i've edited the configure files and it still shows http://. i've purposely typed in https://.. checked and confirmed with the host that the ssl is activated. kinda lost at words right now.
so i got the cart setup and working.. where can i go to edit the SSL?
too late.. reinstalled. i'm running 1.5.1 so i'm skipping to instruction step b.
gonna delete and reinstall it. the second time i tried last night without the SSl, it worked. then i changed the config files & admin directory and then it got really funky. all the styles...
so i finished the installation. my site isn't loading.. it shows up as a blank page. followed the directions, not sure where i went wrong
