Sorry for the thread revival, but:
Is this untrue in 1.3.8a?
I put $100 worth of denied products in the cart.
I put $15 worth of allowed products in cart.
Coupon Minimum Order is $65....
My EZ Pages page seems to have disappeared!
I haven't added anything new to my website recently, I don't think. Shouldn't the EZ Pages be above the Define Page Editor?
See screenshot.
Thanks guys.

After multiple times of "tweaking" the MySQL Server, they said the error will not exist anymore. LOL.
It really is time to get a new host.

Oops, I thought I posted this in General Questions. Sorry about that.
This is mainly a sanity check inquiry.
I have had 1 cart running for 7-8 months in production with no problems, and another cart running for 2-3 months during development. They're both on the...
Okay, never mind, I got it.
Seems there was an additional call needed to specify the xml path that wasn't documented in the file.
Thanks everyone!
<div id="flashcontent">

I put it in the main page too, but it's still not loading.
I realize that I can put it in the main page, but why wouldn't the code work in that banner box?
I've also tried loading the same code into an EZ Page, but with the same result.
Refresh the main page again. I just updated tpl_index_default.php to add "Contents of the bannerwrapper is in tpl_index_default.php" and the text does show where the banner.swf should show.
Am I...
I just don't understand why it'll work on the flashtest.html or copying your code from your page, with the same code but not when I put it in tpl_index_default.php.
I'm using explicit paths, so the...
Yep, I've already tried all the methods in that thread.
I really have spend many hours trying to figure this out, but still with no luck. :frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

Hmmm interesting. Thanks for the response and the plugin. It's a contributed free beta template from this forum, Modern Zen. I'll ping the creator of the template.

I know I'm doing everything correctly, because I've installed this modification on my store, but it doesn't seem to want to work on my girlfriend's store:...
I was thinking this was the case. I have contacted my hosting company. Thanks! We'll see how this goes.
I've been running Zen-Cart 1.38 for a few months, and the security update. Everything has been going awesome, but tonight I got the following error:
Where's the panic smiley?
I'm guessing it has...
Argh, sorry another clarification
When I receive that message
1. the order completes
2. emails do not get sent out.
Also: Even though I get the error message: Email Error: "The following From address failed: xx.xx.com," The order actually goes through!
Details for SMTP.com setup:...

This person has a similar error. See post 7.
I have a live store right now and it has been running fine using smtp.com for outgoing emails.
I've sent out multiple emails okay, but about an hour ago, I started getting this message: Email Error:...

Okay thanks guys. I'll just get off my ###### and change it all over. Well, my domain names' email is hosted by Google Accounts, so I'm going to have to see if there's a way to export all my emails.
I didn't think about this while I was setting up email, but my store's email address is (js2k at joeytam.com), but my store is js2k.com.
Do you think it's unprofessional to not have an email...
Yep Suhosin was indeed installed. I fiddled around with how to see and edit .htaccess, changed it, and it's working now!
Thanks a ton saitomedia.
That link seems to be a dead one.
@#()*$)#*(% and again the session is expiring again.
Thanks a bunch saitomedia. I'll look into it. I still have a while before it goes live.
Goddammit, now it's not working again...
edit: never mind, this time the session really did time out. haha
Have any of you guys dropped Paypal completely in favor of GCO?
Anyone have any input on willingness of customers to only be able to use GCO and not Paypal?
For those that don't have a GCO...
Hmm that's odd. I've been talking to support, but all of a sudden it started working again... :onfire:
Thanks! I tried searching, but I guess I didn't think of searching for shopping cart is empty.
I will contact my hosting company.
Okay, did some more research but still no luck. It seems definitely to be an SSL issue because if SSL is disabled, I can checkout.

Another observation. If I log in, then try to check out, it logs me out with the same message. It seems like a cookie issue, but I'm not sure how an addon or restoring a backup would cause cookie...
:shocking: I killed it.
Yesterday I installed 2 addons. The first was the About Us page, and the second was the 3 in 1 Captcha addon here....
:) yep, that sure did work! Thanks!
I'll give that a try! Thanks! :P and thanks for not flaming a newbie.
Is it normal that multiple <p>'s don't appear as multiple carriage returns on the website? Am I overlooking something?
Thanks!
Ah, okay. Thanks. I guess I'll get that SSL cert. :)
I see that when the customer actually pays for items and logs into and pays with their Paypal account, paypal.com of course is SSL protected, but my own website is not. Since this is my only method...
