The sub categories are not showing. I am using a template. I switch back to the default store template and it still is not showing...

I am not sure what the override directory is can you explain that and where it is.

And if I understand correctly I am to just delete the file from this override folder?

Can I just paste that code into the file tpl_index_categories.php? And will it matter where I place the code? If so please let me know.
