I was definatly in upgrade database mode only

please advise?
should i upload all the files again or create a new database? (and reimport the original)

ok so I only replace the tables that are in the old? right? and I can replace them completely (as in drop and create) or do I just move the data

so can I just set the config to look at the old one?

I ran an upgrade but I get an error by the database upgrade that certain fields exist

I just upgraded to version 1.39
now when I go to payment modules in the backend i get

which setting? I don't see any that do what i need.
(showing 3 on a page and changing the way it's outputted)

i don't see index listing under admin - configuration

How in the index.php can I tell if I am on the homepage or not.
I want to add special code only to happen if it's the homepage.

all the sideboxes are off but I still see the page.

How can I remove the newproducts box and text from the homepage?
Also where can I get links so that I can in my template have the header link to the different categories of items?
