I too am having the same issue. I thought at first it was because I had just been activated on the usps apitest server and when they placed me on production and i pressed the continue checkout...

I got an email from USPS that their test dll is shippingapitest.dll and in the current instalation it is shippingapi.dll, that is why the amounts did not show. just figured i'd let ya'll know. :)
