I have downloaded the databases from v1.5.1 and uploaded them to v1.5.7 but all I get as a warning message and the site will not run.

Can anyone suggest where I might be going wrong please?...

OK but it seems that every action creates a MyDebug log. The software has been installed according to the instructions so not sure why these keep getting generated. After a fresh install the error...

There are two logs which keep filling up my servers unnecessarily: Admin Activity and the MyDebug logs.

Is there any way that I can deactivate these please?

OK the problem appears to be the standard V1.5.7b Responsive Classic template.

I have switched back to Classic (Green) which appears to work OK but now I have to reprogram everything yet again.

Thanks got that on a mobile phone but on a Kindle tablet it will not allow me drop-down Authors (Manufacturers)

Works on a Kindle tablet but not on a mobile phone - why anybody would want to read books on a phone is beyond me!!!!

This is the basic install but no joy on a mobile phone

I'm using the standard responsive classic template which when I analyze says it has output for all sorts of devices but not working

I have reinstalled v1.5.7b under booksense.org.uk/booksense_2022 and still on a mobile phone does not show the categories header or the sideboxes

On mobile devices it is not displaying left or right sideboxes which it does on a PC

I have transferred my systems to v1.5.7b which works fine on PC but the full page is not being displayed on mobile devices such as tablets or phones.

In order to show you the extent of the issue - I have installed a fresh version of v1.5.7b at http://booksense.org.uk/booksense_library and installed the demo data.

Manufacturers show as Please...

At the end of the day - we do not sell - we do not have customer logins (members are handled by a third-party) and every time we have tried to upgrade to new versions we just run into multiple...

It is using the Fresh template and I am not aware of making any changes to the manufacturer side box

v1.5.7b shows this with no drop-down

With drop-down and ability to start typing a name in the box

Occasionally after a few clicks scrolling works but you need to be able to just click anywhere there and start tyoing a name as there are thousands of authors to scroll through!

Now a further issue - in v.1.5.1 I could click in the manufacturers list and start typing a name to select - v.1.5.7b won't let me do this and neither can I scroll down the list

OK now I have reloaded all products I am getting the manufacturers :)

I have now reloaded all 27,00-odd products to no avail.

The problem exists in all templates and I chose responsive-classic as my preference.
